Karen, a young psychiatric nurse, boards the last subway train of the night only to have it stop in the middle of the tunnel. Suddenly, her nightmare begins: a mysterious cult has decided that it's the end of the world and the only way to save the souls of the living is to kill them in cold blood. As those around her are brutally murdered, Karen and a handful of survivors must face the homicidal cult, supernatural forces and their own fears of Armageddon in order to survive.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TronSolo stay away from this one... In no way did this live up to the hype. I read all over on what I normally consider trustworthy review sites that this movie was fantastic, when in fact, it's one of the worst horror films I've seen in quite some time, and I watch A LOT. The acting is atrocious from the get-go. The characters are cliched beyond belief. The "cult" is almost more humorous than scary. The FEW (and i mean VERY few) gory parts were done well I'll admit, but that isn't enough to salvage any hope for this film. I forgot to mention the pace of this movie tries to be fast, but ends up seeming rushed instead. The ideas aren't bad, but none were executed well in my opinion. Words cannot describe how bad the "creatures" looked when you finally see them in like the final minute or two of the movie. I strongly suggest you DO NOT buy this, or even spend a pennie renting it for that matter... 04/21/2010
