Yes, the picture size in the matte is 8x10.

Yes, it holds an 8x10" picture with matte.

The mat is a "off-white" and looks GREAT with the black frame.

Another Commenter said "The mats are ivory colored, not white. I'm using them to frame B&W prints and wanted white matting. I painted the mats white with craft paint and that worked well."

The mat is an off-white. I wanted a true white mat, so I turned it around and used the back. It's not cut the same as the front of the mat, but I liked the look.

I'd stay away from these frames. I gave a semi-good review but I've changed my mind. Since I had one break, I needed to replace it. When I reordered I recieved a black frame but with a pure white mat (first one was cream), slightly smaller overall and a slimmer frame. I'd go to a store and save yourself my headaches. The attached picture shows you the difference.

The matting is for 8 x 10 photo. If you don't want it matted an 11 x 14 photo would work in this frame.

I know it doesn't say in the description but on the photo of the product and it says "holds one 8" by 10" photo

If you take out the mat, it will hold 11x14 picture.

Yes I put an 11x14 piece of artwork in it. You remove the matting to do this.

Mine was smaller to. It just depends on if you can center it in the matting, place it correctly and tighten the backing carefully.

i took the matting out and was able to put in a full 11x14 photo no problem

I couldn't believe how well the frames were packaged, especially since shipping was free! Wrapped generously with bubble wrap and not a scratch on them! That is until I dropped one on the floor. Silly me. I've already recommended this!!!!

These frames have the metal pins that you bend in/out to add or remove the artwork. The pins are a pain to deal with but once you have your art in you don't have to deal with them, so for the price, it was right.

I would buy these again.

I have 4 11x14 art prints I wanted to frame.  The frames are a perfect fit and look solid.  I haven't hung them up yet as you can see in the photo.  I will say that if you need the matting, for the black frames the mats are yellow.

This frames are gorgeous, definitely a good investment. I need it them to hang some of my daughters paintings. I love it so much!

I was worried about buying this online. It came carefully packed, easy to use, and looks great. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Just what I needed.

These frames are nice. Lightweight, double matting that is cream colored and hooks to hang the frame vertically or horizontally. My one complaint is that the silver color isn't silver at all. It's more of a champagne gold color. That's the only thing that was deceiving. It turns out the champagne color will work for me but if you really want silver frames don't get these. They are a very good value for $10 each and I would highly recommend aside from the color variation.

Love the frames, they came before the scheduled delivery date, they're always package very well. BUT..... The matting is an off white cream color, it does not mention this anywhere, I have purchased these frame several times before and they have always had a white matting. Very unhappy about that, so I had to buy some white matting and all is well in the world again.
