I really loved this movie. Demi Moore was an outstanding actress in the movie. I'm glad I decided to get this movie to go along with the rest of my DVD collection that I brought from Wal-Mart.

This dvd was hard to find! I searched for it everywhere and could only find a very expensive copy. Thanks Walmart for making it available at a VERY reasonable price! This movie is GREAT! My daughter is in the Military and this movie really inspires a future for our Daughters in the Military and that any obstacle can be overcome when our Country, Freedom, and soldiers are at risk.

I love this movie. You could say I collect movies. lol. After watching G.I. Jane online I added it to my want list of movies I would like to own someday. I was really excited to see Walmart had it! This movie is so powerful. An OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE by DEMI MOORE! I have always enjoy war/military films. I would say it is a must see for everyone. For me it is up there with Saving Private Ryan. Not in gore but in how powerful the film is and the message it shows.
G.I. Jane is about A female Senator succeeds in enrolling a woman (Demi Moore) into Navy SEALS training where everyone expects her to fail. It shows the struggle women had being in the army and being limited on what women could do or how high they could go up in ranks. Showing the struggle and trials she has while in training. Not being very welcomed by any of the men. Having them give her "special treatment" because of her gender, which she gets sick of it. She demands to be treated the same nor better or nor worse. She fights hard to make it through training equally with the men.
Outstanding and Best Performance by Demi Moore.
