Disappointed in steamer in that steam is created but by the time it gets through heavy cleaning pad, it's little more than hot water, and doesn't seem to clean very well. Handle doesn't lock in place causing it to tip when leaned against something. Water tank is relatively small and must be refilled about every 10-15 minutes of use.
I could have saved a lot of money by just buying a good mop and bucket and moping my floors.
Rated 2 out of 5 by CookieLynne Very disappointed...
I did my homework before purchasing. This steamer had the highest water temp for steaming so I purchased. After 7 months of minimal use it quit working...heating element died. I found the pads a pain to put on because after many times in the washer, they shrunk. The pads also would curl and make it difficult to push and pull the steamer. I will purchase another brand of steamer because I love not using chemicals to clean. What a disappointment to spend $70 on such an inferior product.

I recieved this floor steamer on August 2 (ordered July 29, thanks for the super fast shipping Walmart!). It didn't work correctly from the start, it got hot but no steam. I bought this particular steamer after doing some extensive research on the different floor steamers. I called customer service at Eureka and the agent I spoke with was very nice and told me what I had to do to get a replacement. He made this very easy for me. I mailed on August 9 to Eureka what was required and to date (August 19), haven't received my replacement. I can still use the other one, they don't want it back. I guess that just shows how expendable these things are. If they can afford to just tell me "to throw it away or use it for parts". I hope the replacement works better than the original. Actually, I just hope I get it. So, right now, I would not recommend this to anyone.
Rated 1 out of 5 by mrob53 As other reviews stated, this steamer does streak the floors. It does clean well, but did leave streaks. Going back to my bona mop. I returned steamer to Walmart with no hassel.

Purchased this model after considerable research for best available home steam mop. When I used it for the first time, it did not get hot and water leaked all over my floor. Returned it the next day.
Rated 2 out of 5 by petmominmontana not what I needed
This is not a floor cleaner, it is a steamer. I have two small dogs and two cats who track the floors. Floors are tile and laminate. I thought I could use this product to clean up the paw prints. This is not the product I need. It makes a muddy slime on the floor that dries dull.
I had to wait three weeks for the floor cloths that didn't come with the product so I could evaluate the results.
I am going to send it back and get something more applicable to my needs.
Rated 1 out of 5 by fergieTXgirl I followed the instructions and product just wouldn't steam! Tried it about 3-4 times, however it still would leave floor wet and no steam!
I was very disappointed; therefore I returned it.
Rated 1 out of 5 by krafty07 Broke After 5 Uses
I bought this for a Christmas gift for my father. He used it 5 times tops and it broken in Feb. Not only did it stop heating up and stop working, but it left spots all over the floor where it was used and we followed the directions about not leaving it in one spot for very long. Not a good product. Walmart was very fast and nice about replacing it. They have great customer service. I hope that this one works out but I am not getting my hopes up!

I was so excited to try this steamer on my sealed hardwood floors. Unfortunately it fell really short. While it did clean up small water spots and spills just fine it left the floor streaked and dull. My floors were just sanded and sealed a few months ago. I returned the product and am thinking of purchasing the Oreck steamer.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Iggy24 so sad
It used to take me 1.5 hours to wash my floor by hand and it killed my knees. I loved the way I could speed though the process with this unit. Too bad it stop working after only 6 uses. No longer got hot or produced steam. I would recommend this item if I thought it was just my bad luck, but there appears to be others with the same issue.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Surveyisveryannoying It lasted a month
Steamer worked great..for a month and then...NOTHING...no heat, no steam. Maybe it was defective. I did follow the instructions.
I returned it and purchased another one. I just received the new steamer today. We'll see if this one lasts.
Originally bought this based on all the great reviews.

I have ceramic tile flooring and was very disappointed with this product. It left water on the floor as well as the waffle design of the pad. The floor was dull after it dried. I attempted to use it a 2nd time to see if I had done something wrong. The result was the same. I would not recommend this product for ceramic tile flooring. Note the cord is too short as well had to unplug and replug to do the entire kitchen. What a drag.

While this was a good looking product,it didn't work.
Having a new kitchen floor ,cleaning should have been a breeze.Chose this model because of all the great reviews. Was totally disappointed. It did not clean the floor at all/I returned the product the next day.

I had done the product research to find the best steam mop. I had previously owned a shark and was basically happy with it. But alot of people I knew had them and everyones seeemed to break at once. I opted to make a change so based on reviews and price I chose the Eureka. I was so disappointed. The first thing I didn't like was you didn't see or hear any steam even though it was steaming. I guess by the time it got through the pad there was no steam to see. I like hearing and seeing the steam with the shark because I really felt like it was cleaning. The Eureka left the floor very wet and it took a long time to dry. The shark dries almost instantly. I really didn't see much advantage to the design. So I went out and bought another basic Shark for $59.00. Even though people say it is hard to push, after the pad gets wet, it isn't so bad. It definitely picks up dirt. If you are thinking of buying a Eureka, I would rethink. It isn't that great!
Rated 5 out of 5 by lovewalmarthoodies loosened the grout dirt
I was very happy with this steamer. We have a 1/2 bath off of the garage and the grout needed a good scrubbing. I was also using a swiffer on the floor to wash it and it was not working. So last week I steamed the floor really good...took a brush to the grout and I was amazed how clean the grout became. The steam also makes me feel like the floor is cleaner!
Rated 5 out of 5 Eureka!!
After reading many reviews of steam mops, the Eureka had the highest marks overall for quality, price and ease of use. Now that I have mine, I see why. It really works! It comes with its own measuring cup and funnel for adding water to the machine. When not in use the handles fold down and it is quite small.
The main thing I love is how clean it gets my floor without the use of any chemicals. The package clearly states, "Do not add anything but water!"
Our kitchen is right off the back yard and between the kids and the two dogs, the floor is always dirty. I pull out the Enviro Steamer and in minutes my floors are steam cleaned without the use of any chemicals! Plus, because it uses steam, the floors are instantly dry. And there is no worry of having my kids or pets around strong chemicals.
When you are done mopping, you simply remove the scrubbing pad and put in through the wash. It comes out clean and ready to go. I ordered a couple extra just to have on hand.
Buying the Eureka Enviro Steamer is the best purchase I've made in a long time!
Rated 2 out of 5 by RoadRunner52 Not all it's cracked up to be
It does not clean like I thought it would. The Shark actually cleaned better, but the water didn't get as hot as this product. I think it may be the material that is used for the mop area. It will leave some dirt spots on the tile floor. Even leaving on a area for the recommended amount of time doesn't help. I think the microfiber The Shark uses really picks up dirt. If the Shark had a longer lifespan I would've bought another one. It lasted 1 year.
Rated 2 out of 5 by tempest6 not what i expected
I used the steamer on my small bathroom floor it does not get behind the toilet it did not remove sticky residue from a mat i am still going to have to use my regular old mop to finish the job. Hauling the tray around is also a nuisance. I will use it again, but I have a feeling I shall be using my good old mop and bucket. I really feel that I wasted my money, the only good thing about it is it did dry quickly.
Rated 1 out of 5 by stubbs69 Eureka Steamer
Whole steamer hard to use. You had to wait for it to heat up. Very long to wait. Mine never heated that much. The worst part was it didn't clean my tile and the item was heavy. Not happy returned it.

not a good steam mop, i will return sometime this week. the handle fall apart after 10 min. it doesn't pick up dirt as what it says on the review. very disappointed :(
Rated 2 out of 5 by dczar i prefer my $10 mop
steam mop seems durable and is easy to use, but i find my mop does a better job cleaning. this seems better suited for people who might have dust on their floors and want to clean that up, but for a house with dogs a mop and my elbow grease is faster and does a better job. you're supposed to move the mop slowly over the floor, but this takes too long and on the wood floors i didn't notice the floors being any cleaner than when i mop w/ murphys oil soap. on the tile and linoleum, mopping definitely seemed better. i'll be returning this.
Rated 5 out of 5 by ShagsterPA Hot for Mop ( Steamer that is! )
After reading many reviews (on other sites as well) I chose this steamer. Performs very well! Like the adjustable handle , the Loooong power cord and the way it hangs for storage. Also the multiple steam holes and not just one. Having two pads is a plus 'cause you can have one in the wash and still have one out to clean. If you follow the directions , you will not have a problem on linoleum floors. That's what I bought it for. Sure beats the Clorox ready mop and others as well I bet!!! Have fun!
Rated 4 out of 5 by FrenchieFosterMom I had an older version of this product and really liked it. When that one died i got this one. The only thing bad about it is the cord is so much shorter. I have to move it three times in order to clean my kitchen/laundry/bath.

I had eureka envirosteamer f0r 6 years, but recently started to spew water instead of steam, and when empting water there was always some dirt getting out of the container (I assume that it was oxidized metal of container).I was enough satisfied with the old one that I bought envorosteamer again ,only a new model. It is made by the same company.
Rated 5 out of 5 by aivee Best hard surface floor cleaner
After reading all of the reviews, I had high expectations for this steam mop and I was not disappointed. My floors have never been cleaner and I feel great knowing I'm not using chemicals to keep them that way. Right now I'm using it on pergo flooring, linoleum and tile in various rooms in my house. It doesn't streak and it gets up EVERYTHING. Also, my floors dry very fast with this mop. The product itself is very sturdy and easy for me to maneuver. I love mopping my floors now. The cloth pads included fit perfectly, just remember not to stick them in the dryer. I didn't check the laundering tag the first time I washed them and I did stick them in the dryer. They shrunk a little but I was able to stretch them out to get them to fit again.

This product did not live up to my expectations or the review I read before I purchased the product.
It left my tile very wet which left water spots when dried.
It did not produce the steam it stated, in fact, it gave out very little steam.
Did not clean my tile and my tile was not very dirty to begin with as I wash the floor every week and it's just my husband and I.
I would not recommend this product and would like to return.
Rated 2 out of 5 by wodehouse poor design
I borrowed my son's eureka enviro to do my tile floors and was amazed that the engineering was so dumb. It is hard to attach the pad securely and it kept bunching up as I worked. If they had just made the pad to hook on in all 4 directions so it couldn't wiggle loose, it would be great. The floors feel much cleaner, but the process was frustrating, and the fix would be so simple! I checked to buy him new pads and found out they are 5 for $75! Pretty steep for something that wears out so quickly and is made so poorly!
Rated 3 out of 5 by AmbersMommy Not what I had hoped for
I am a stay-at-home mom to a 2-and-a-half-year-old and a 10 month old, so needless to say, there are a lot of spills on our floors. I bought this after reading the reviews because I needed something that would keep the floors clean for the kids and something that would not take too long to dry. If you follow the directions, this steamer works as described, but I am less than satisfied with how the floor feels after finished. Today I attempted to steam clean after a juice spill. After going over the area TWICE, my kitchen still felt like a dollar cinema with its sticky floors. I had to get the old mop out again. This was exactly the kind of mess I had hoped this machine would get up easily and quickly, but I am disappointed in its limitations. The shortness of the cord is another less important but still annoying feature.
Rated 1 out of 5 Handle BROKE on first try
I was really excited about this product, and I chose to ignore the reviews stating that the handle is flimsy. One reviewer described the handled as being held in place by a plastic part the size of a Battleship peg. This is seriously true and the reason that mine broke.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lv2cleanalot Eureka Enviro Steamer
I thought it cleaned my floors very well. The only problem that I found was that it was a little heavy to push along the floor.
