Stephenie Meyer was born in Connecticut in 1973. Her family moved to Arizona shortly thereafter. She is one of six children in her family. She received a bachelor's degree in English from Brigham Young University. Twilight was her first novel and was the beginning of the popular Twilight Series, which includes New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.
