Join Elmo in his biggest adventure yet! Co-starring Vanessa Williams and Mandy Patinkin. Elmo and his beloved blue blanket are inseparable. When Oscar carelessly tosses the fuzzy blanket into his trash can, Elmo dives in after it. He is suddenly plunged into Grouchland, the land of Grouches, stinkygarbage and the greedy Huxley (Mandy Patinkin) who hasn't learned how to share. Elmo and all his friends from Sesame Street embark on a fun-filled adventure with one mission: to rescue Elmo's blanket. On the way, Elmo encounters a giant chicken and even the Queen Of Trash (Vanessa Williams) herself! It's a grouch-loving good time filled with fun, sensational songs and all of your favorite characters.

Rated 4 out of 5 by d2peaches Great Lesson in Sharing and Not Giving Up My son when he was 5 years old enjoyed watching the movie. Now he is 20 years old. My grandson loves the movie and he is now 8 years old and his little sister which is 3 years old enjoys the movie.This movie has Elmo teaching the children just because you are little does not mean you have to give up in pursuing something that means something to you. Elmo got separated from his favorite thing and it was his blanket. His blanket meant something to him and he never gave up in getting his blanket back from Grouchland.While trying to get his blanket back, Elmo encountered Huxley, the villain in the movie that got Elmo's blanket and did not want to get it back. Huxley is selfish and took whatever he wanted from the grouches in Grochland. Elmo also encountered the Queen of Trash. After passing the ultimate challenge, she allowed him to pass through the dump to get to Huxley's house where he retrieved his blanket.Elmo's friends from Sesame Street went to Grouchland to get Elmo to help get him back to Sesame Street.The Cast From Sesame Street, Mandy Patinkin as Huxley,and Vanessa Williams as the Queen of Trash made the movie interesting with songs that are catchy and will leave the children singing. 04/19/2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by LyriksMom Perfect for the Elmo/Sesame Street Fan I bought this for my 21 month old son. I've purchased a few Elmo/Sesame Street videos in the past (ex. The Best of Elmo, Iron Monster and the Sesame Street Heros, Elmo's Potty Time) Elmo in Grouchland and Iron Monster are my son's absolute favorites! I felt the price was an absolute deal for a full length Elmo movie. The DVD is of good quality. If your child is like mine and loves Elmo and the whole Sesame Street gang they will really enjoy this film. From the time my son wakes to the time he goes to bed he wants to watch Elmo! We have Netflix so an infinite amount of Sesame Street episodes to choose from but, I find myself being handed the remote to fast forward to Elmo's World segment constantly. It's nice to have this movie to pop in and he's satisfied. He likes that all the characters are in the movie too. He calls out their names everytime they come on tbe screen. There are a lot of really cute songs in the film but, it's not overloaded like a musical per se. Collectively, my son, my husband, and I all like the movie and I think it is a must have for any Elmo/Sesame Street fan. Order it today! 06/11/2012
