Midnight. Jack Bauer, head of the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit, has just finished a chess game with his daughter, Kimberly. But the cozy family moment is shattered moments later when Kimberly disappears out her bedroom window. Before Jack can go look for her, he's called into the office to deal with a sudden emergency, leaving his wife, Teri, to track down their daughter. The night only gets worse after Jack learns the agency believes an assassination attempt will be made on presidential candidate Senator David Palmer within the next 24 hours. As Jack and his team race to discover who is behind the assassination, Teri tries to locate Kimberly - whose night of partying has suddenly turned into a struggle for her very survival.

24 to die for I never watched "24" until the last season. So I started at the beginning. It is exciting and fast paced, just what the senior enjoys. Someone else doing the running. I will buy the next one when I finish this one. It only took 10 days to get here. Cheaper than any other place I checked out and they always keep me updated on the progress.
