Rated 2 out of 5 NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
I didn't know that I would have to keep moving it to pick up different channels. I thought it was suppose to pick up all channels. If I went to channel 8, I would have to get up and move the digital antenna box. No matter what channel, I still had to reposition the digital box. There just has to be a better way to receive the channels without getting up & down to do it.

I spent a few hours running up and down the ladder to the attic trying to position this thing and it performs no better, or slightly worse than the antenna I had made myself from a piece of 4" x 1/2" x 36" and a few clothes hangers! Its amplifier makes just a tiny difference in reception, but not much. I still can't get a good quality for channel 13, even with this thing. It looks like I need to opt for a bigger outdoor rig. It still costs 29.99 in the store after all these years. I am surprised it's still manufactured by RCA.

Picked up all the local channels and most of them came in crystal clear. Was able to get two channels that were recently dropped by my cable company.

I am currently a long-haul Truck Driver and I would recommend this product.Sometimes in the "Mountain States" I get channels when I never think I would..
Only down-side is;if I am in a crowded Truck Stop,I've found I get the best reception parking at the end of a row. Also when a truck passes in front or on the side,I lose the signal briefly.Annoying yes..but much better than nothing. :)
Rated 4 out of 5 by KcGuy Surprised how well it worked!
I didn't want to try the RCA model. I have had bad experience with that brand before, but it was the only one available in the price range I wanted to spend. This thing works great! I have tried 2 other antennas. This one pulls in ALL the channels. I used to have problems with 2 major networks.
Rated 5 out of 5 by CatSH Worked great
Worked great right out of the box. Easy to set up, too. Bought it for emergency purposes (when satellite goes out due to weather) but ready to get rid of DISH and the monthly payment!
Rated 5 out of 5 by acedeuce Good value
I just purchased this antenna 7/10/12 and use it with a 19" analog TV. It has helped bring in at least 10-15 more stations. I couldn't get ABC @ first now I get 2 ABC stations. It seems to have better reception when placed by a window. I have it hanging up on picture hanger. This product is a big help; because of the economy, I can't budget in cable tv. It is a big difference from the rabbit ears I had with no amplification. Good alternative to cable to save some $$$.
Rated 4 out of 5 by cdrjim Good for close transmitters
Performs well once you find the perfect location. Amplifier helps HD signal. Size is best feature.
Rated 1 out of 5 by jh39 I expected too much.
The reviews were not great, but the price reasonable. I ordered it and as usual it came earlier than expected. I never have a long line at the Griffin pick up, which was at 10 AM on opening. I fiddled with the unit and the "by the window" suggested with one reviewer. After repeated attempts, I figured a lower area of my home behind a hill or two and 36 miles was too much. After supper it was returned. By the way, why did old "rabbit ears" perform just a little worse?
PS Read the limits posted in viewer reviews.
PPS On return, a lady commented that many of these same units were brought back.

I gave it one star in each category simply because all the parts were there otherwise it deserves none. I was using 30 year old broken rabbit ears and getting a few stations with not too bad reception so I assumed a new one would do a better job - wrong! This is a complete waste of money - one religeous station was accessible and clear but no other reception at all-less than what I got with the old antenna. It is on it's way back to the store right now.
Rated 1 out of 5 by CrazyLizzard 1 BAD ANTENNA
You have to move it around alot & the coax piece on it has to go over the little foot piece & it knock's the foot piece off, because the coax is in the wrong place for the foot.
Rated 1 out of 5 WORST EVER!!!
Unless you plan on standing beside your television to get a signal while watching TV RUN away from this product WORST EVER!
