    Awesome Glasses!

I was really skeptical about purchasing these glasses due to several reviews I had read about other glasses at low prices, hence, the whole "you get what you pay for" theory. However, these glasses are great! The dishwasher does not faze them and they are not too thin by any means! I definitly plan on purchasing another set and would definitly recommend these to anybody!

I had glasses once and they all broke and I replaced them with cheap plastic cups, and I'm so happy I got rid of them and bought these. They're so elegant and beautiful. I love the price too!

Cheaper in store! Great for the price!

Check in the store. It is definitely cheaper! I got mine for $11 something. Also, it beats waiting for shipping and risking broken glasses. We decided to get 2 sets, because we have large family gatherings. It's simply beautiful. If you like classic, elegant, and inexpensive glasses, then these are for you. It has a heavy base. The mouth of the short glasses are a little wider than the taller cups. It's definitely a lot easier to clean the shorter glasses than the taller one. You would need to use a brush to clean inside the tall one. (see picture) Because, both sizes almost holds the same amount, we end up using the short glasses most of the time. We also like the look of the the short glasses better. Because this is so inexpensive, a few of the glasses may have some imperfections on the very top lip of the glasses. If you look carefully, it looks like the glass is slightly warped and may have a slight bump. Please see pictures. We don't mind this too much since it's inexpensive. As of now, none has broken. I'm pretty clumsy and have broken many other "cheap" glasses that we've purchased from Walmart. These feel a bit more sturdy than the different sets of glasses we've previously purchased from Walmart. If you don't mind some minor defects, then these are perfect.

    • On the box it has 12 oz for the short one and 16 oz for the taller glasses. I used a measuring cup w/ the oz measurement and measured out the ounces myself. The glasses are the size advertised, if you fill it completely to the rim. Please see the picture. :) (the measuring cup is 8 oz at the line, 1 cup = 8 oz)

    • I don't know what those people are talking about, they are as advertised. 12 Ounces for the smaller one, a pint for the larger ones. Maybe it's the shape and not the depth that is throwing them off?

    • They're a little bit smaller than I thought, but they're still a decent size.

    • The larger glass holds just about 16 oz., though when I opened the box I was surprised to see that they're smaller than my former drinking glasses. However, they both hold the same amount of liquid, so the Anchor Hocking Classico's must be shorter and wider. The shorter glass holds almost 10 oz. Keep in mind that this is when they are filled to the rim, which most of us don't do. I am happy with my set of Classico's and have received many compliments on them. People are surprised when I tell them how reasonably they are priced on!
