About this item

"The Sound Of Music": Julie Andrews in the heartwarming true story that has become a cinematic treasure. Rodgers and Hammerstein's "The Sound Of Music." Julie Andrews is Maria, the spirited, young woman who leaves the convent and becomes a governess to the seven unruly children. Charm and songs soon win the hearts of the children and their father but when Nazi, Germany unites with Austria, Maria is forced to attempt a daring escape with her new family. "Mrs. Doubtfire": Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) is no ordinary father, so when he learns his ex-wife (Sally Field) needs a housekeeper, he applies for the job. With the perfect wig, a little makeup and a dress for all occasions, he becomes "Mrs. Doubtfire," a devoted British nanny who is hired on the spot. Free to be the "woman" he never knew he could be, the disguised Daniel creates a whole new life with his entire family. "Dr. Dolittle": A successful physician and devoted family man, John Dolittle (Eddie Murphy) seems to have the world by the tail, until a long-suppressed talent he possessed as a child - the ability to communicate with animals - is suddenly reawakened...with a vengeance! Now every creature within squawking distance wants the good doctor's advice, unleashing an outrageous chain of events that turns his world upside down! "The Man From Snowy River": An ambitious rancher (Kirk Douglas) sets his sights on the hills of the awesome Snowy River country. Buried somewhere in that pristine wilderness, protected by treacherous terrain and bands of wild, stampeding horses, is a fortune in unmined gold. Before the rancher can stake his claim, however, his world is turned upside down when a cowboy steals his daughter's heart and uncovers a secret in those hills more precious than any treasure.

"The Man From Snowy River" is Presented in Full Frame and Widescreen Formats.

I was looking for "Sound of Music" for a Christmas Gift for Mom. the other titles were a bonus. The packaging is really nice, 4 sleeves, one for each movie. Not the tacky 4 movies on one disk thing. Walmart.com rocks.
