Customer Product Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5★ by 20reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by They work fine. I needed to replace a pedal on a 12" bike (ironically the 12" Boys' Tonka Mighty Tough Bike that Walmart sells). These pedals are quite a bit bigger than the original kid sized pedals, but were the only replacement pedals I could find in my town. They worked fine are don't look too out of place. For the price they are very solid, and much better than the original pedals I replaced. Just remember that when replacing, on one side of the bike you will actually turn one of the pedal shafts clockwise to loosen counter-clockwise to tighten. Seems odd to me, but that is what the instructions said and they were correct. 05/11/2009
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Not worth the package they're put in These pedals are basically a plastic "pedal" molded around a bolt. There are no bearings or anything, just plastic and metal rubbing against each other. They broke on me in about a week, then I was stuck riding home on a rod which wore a hole in the bottom of my shoe causing a blister. Will work fine for little kids bikes, something that is not put through any kind of abuse other than that go for something alloy. 11/20/2009
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Broke quickly Sorry friends.I had hoped for a good deal, but the right pedal broke after just a few rides. It turns out that these have metal cores, but are clad in rather cheap plastic. 06/02/2010
Rated 4 out of 5★ by great if you need the adapters I needed 1/2inch to 9/16 adapters. This is the onlyway I could get them. Buy the pedals and all.To bad they do not sell adapters alone everyone is looking for them. The pedals are ok if you like plastic. My friends grand kid liked them and they fit his bike without the adapters. So he got new pedals 05/10/2011
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Bought these because one of the stock pedals snapped off my bike. I installed these and 12 days later the pedal cracked just enough to make it useless. I recommend going for something a little higher in quality. 09/04/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by great pedals I got this because I could not find pedals for my sons' 12" bike. It had the 1/2" tread pitch so these worked great. If you have a 1/2" tread pattern for your childs bike,or even 9/16" ,because they give you addapters to go up in size, then these are the pedals for you. 01/03/2010
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Pedals with quality at a low price I bought my pedals at bi-mart for only $5 which is an excellent deal. I was able to get them onto my 26" mountain bike with the supplied adapters no problem. They actually stick out a little further than my last pedals which works in my favor because my legs are further away from the center of the bike anyways. The only problem with the pedals I had is with the reflectors sliding out of the holders they are in. I had to crazy glue them into their slots around a total of 4 different times to get them to stay in there slots. So far, so good! I would recommend these pedals if you need new ones. 08/10/2009
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Not Built to Last They fit and were serviceable for about six months and then the plastic cracked and they had to be replaced. . The metal parts are not of particularly good quality as evidenced by corrosion.I ride the bike on streets about 4 miles per day. No rough handling but ride in high gear. When I replace I will pay closer attention to quality over cheap price. 07/20/2014
