Engagement Ring After negotiating with my fiance, we went from a ring bill of almost $400 to less than $100. And we waited (what felt like) forever for this ring to arrive. And we were so excited when I opened the box, but were surprised to see just how small a 1/6 carat really was. But seeing how I have small fingers, it sits really nicely on my finger, so I've no complaints there (remember, the smaller the finger size, the smaller karat size you'll need). It's very dainty and sparkles beautifully. I'm not a fan of marquis style at all, more of a princess-cut girl, but I have to say that this ring really is adorable, despite the styling.My one regret, and this is all my wrong-doing, was getting it a half-size too big. Currently, I'm losing weight and we thought that a five would be a wonderful fit, but it slides off my knuckle with little to no effort. ^-^;; Whoops! But, hopefully after sending the ring to what my fiance calls, "Fat Camp," it will fit wonderfully. I just hope when we have to shop for wedding bands, we will have accurate sizes on both our parts! ;D Haha!But if you and your sweetie are on a tight budget, want a unique looking ring, but you don't mind it being small, then by all means, go for it! BEAUTIFUL RING !!!! Much prettier in person !! :) I'm not a fan of the Marquise style either, but I love, love, love this ring !!! I received it as an engagement ring & could not be happier. :) It sparkles beautifully in the light & is definitely unique ! I originally wanted a gold ring w/ three stones, but after receiving this ring, thought about it .. & gold is weak & bends really easily, so glad he went w/ sterling silver ! And as for the style & design, I love that it's so unique (unlike the one I had picked out, lol). Especially with the two hearts on either side of the center diamonds, it's like this heart is mine, this heart is yours, and this (the center diamonds) is OUR LOVE ! <3 (Yeah I know I'm a romantic at heart, can't help it;) All in all, GREAT quality, BEAUTIFUL design & I couldn't be happier w/ it. :) Well, maybe if it fit. All they had were 7's, I'm a 6.5 so we'll have to get it re-sized but so far I can't bear to part w/ it long enough to get it done ! 07/03/2011
