Change Account Settings
It's easy to change your email address, password, shipping information, and billing and payment information for your Walmart.com account.
Changing Email Address and Password:
- Go to "My Account" (located at the top of each page) and sign in.
- Click "Email Address & Password."
- For added security, you will be asked to verify the current email address and password for your account before making changes.
- Then type in a new email address or password, or both, in the proper box(es).
- Click "Save."
Note: Passwords must be six to 11 characters.
Adding to or Changing Shipping Information:
- To add a new address, go to "My Account" (located at the top of each page) and sign in.
- In Address Book, click "Add a New Address."
- To change an existing address in your Address Book, click the Edit button below the address.
- If you'd like to remove an address, click "Delete."
Adding to or Changing Your Billing and Payment Information:
If you need to update the expiration date or billing address for an existing credit card, add a new card or delete one:
- Go to "My Account" (located at the top of each page) and sign in.
- Click "Billing Address & Credit Card."
- Click "Add a New Card" to enter information for a new credit card, or click "Edit" to change information on an existing card.
- You can delete a card by clicking "Delete" next to the card.
Click "Add a New Card" to enter information for a new credit card, or click "Edit" to change information on an existing card. You can also delete a card by clicking "Delete" next to the card.
Adding or Changing Your Mobile Number for Pickup Mobile Alerts:
For Site to Store®, Photo Site to Store and 1-Hour Photo orders, you can receive Pickup Mobile Alert text messages when your order is ready at the store.
- To add or change your mobile number, go to "My Account" (located at the top of each page) and sign in.
- At the top of the page, click "Pickup Mobile Alerts."
- Add or change the information requested to receive text messages when your order is ready.
If you have been receiving text message alerts and would like to stop, click Turn Off Text Messages.

Create an Account
It's easy to create an account on Walmart.com, and it costs nothing. Just follow these steps:
- Click Create an Account or
click "My Account" at the top of the page.
- Enter your name and email address on the sign-up screen.
- Create a password and confirm it.
- Click Create Account.
Creating an account provides these benefits:
Order Status
You'll receive email confirmations when your items are shipped, as well as email notifications in case our Customer Service needs to contact you about your order.
Address Book
You can store unlimited names and addresses, and access them for easy checkout.
Photo Center
Upload, store and share your photos online.
Saved List
Keep a running list of your favorite items and planned purchases.

Track Your Order
If your order has been shipped, click the "Track Your Order" link at the top right of most Walmart.com pages.
Please Note: Only orders that have been shipped by a shipping carrier (companies other than the postal service) can be tracked. Not all orders will be given a tracking status by the shipping carrier. Tracking is not available for orders that have a "Processing" status.
Guest Checkout: If you checked out as a guest, click "Track Orders" at the top right of our site and enter the requested information to track your order's progress.
Important: If you have an account but used Guest Checkout to make a purchase, you will need to sign out of your account to see your guest order's tracking information. After you sign out, click "Track Orders" at the top right of our site and enter the requested information.

Order Cancellation Policy
Your order begins processing immediately after you click Place Order. During processing time it may be possible to cancel your order, but once the order moves into the shipping process, it cannot be canceled.
To attempt to cancel your order during processing:
- Sign in to your account.
- Find the order on your main account page.
- Click the order number to see the order details.
If it is still possible to cancel, you will see a Cancel button on the Order Details page that you can use to cancel your order. If there is no button, the order is already being shipped and cannot be canceled.
If you have changed your mind about the order and it is too late to cancel, you can return any unwanted items in accordance with the seller?s returns policy.

View Your Order History
Your Order History lets you review your current and past orders and get updates on your order status. To view your Order History:
- Go to My Account and sign in.
- Click the "Order History" link on the left of the screen.
- View the details of each order by clicking "View Order Details."

Problems With Your Order
If you believe an item in your order is missing, didn't arrive, or is damaged or defective, here's what you can do:
For Items Purchased from a Walmart Marketplace Retailer
If your Order Details page in My Account shows the seller of your item to be anyone other than "Walmart.com," then you have purchased that item from one of our Marketplace Retailers.
Each Marketplace Retailer has its own customer service department and you must contact the Retailer directly if there is a problem with your order. These items cannot be returned to a Walmart store or to Walmart.com. Walmart.com Customer Service cannot track orders or process cancellations, returns or replacements for items that were purchased from a Marketplace Retailer.

For Items Purchased from Walmart.com
If an Item Is Missing
Due to varying item availability and warehouse locations, your items may be shipped separately when you place an order for multiple items. We will not charge you extra for split shipments.
The invoice you receive with your order will tell you which items have been shipped separately, and you can use Track Your Orders to see if the rest of your order is on its way.
If your shipment arrives and you still have questions about items missing from your order, please contact us and one of our Customer Service Associates will be happy to help you.
If Your Order Didn't Arrive
Most orders can be tracked. If you wish to track an order that you believe is late, go to
Track Your Orders.
If you track your order and still have questions about an order that has not arrived, please contact us.
Please Note: While our Customer Service associates will try to assist, please understand that they do not have any additional information other than what is available from the shipment carrier's website.
If an Item Is Damaged or Defective
We are committed to your shopping satisfaction. If an item you receive from Walmart.com is damaged or defective, you can return it to us.
To return or replace an item at a store:
- Bring the item you wish to return along with all original packing materials and accessories.
- If available, bring the packing slip that came with the item.
- If you do not have the original packing slip, you can print out the Easy Returns Receipt in My Account for the item you are returning.
To return or replace an item by mail:
If you received a damaged or defective item, you can request a replacement by mail. The replacement item will be sent to the original "ship to" address upon receipt of the original item at our Returns Center, pending product availability.
Please follow these step-by-step instructions on how to return an item by mail.
Items that cannot be returned by mail are listed in the Returns Policy.

Forgot Password
If you can't remember your password, we'll email it to you shortly after you follow these easy steps:
- Go to "My Account" (located at the top of each page).
- Click "Forgot Your Password?" under "Sign In."
- Enter your email address and click "Send."

Checking Out as a Guest
If you would like to make a purchase without creating an account, please choose Check Out As a Guest on the sign-in page.
During checkout, you will be asked for the minimum amount of information necessary to complete your order and ship it.
At the end of checkout, you?ll have an opportunity to create an account if you would like. Click No Thanks if you do not want to create an account.
Click "Track My Orders" at the top right of the site to view tracking information once your order has shipped.
Account holders can also use Guest Checkout--just follow the steps above and the instructions during checkout. Please note: Any order you place as a guest will not be trackable via the My Account page if you are signed in. Sign out and click "Track My Orders" at the top right of the site to see your Guest Checkout order status.
