Using Rx Express Pay

Rx Express Pay conveniently and securely stores your credit card information in our pharmacy system, automatically billing your credit card for prescription amounts not covered by insurance. At the pharmacy, you just sign for your order and go.

It's simple to add Rx Express Pay once you create your pharmacy account online. You will need to provide a credit card number and expiration date.

Using Pharmacy Features Online Without Rx Express Pay

You are not required to set up Rx Express Pay to use features of the pharmacy online. However, without Rx Express Pay, it will be necessary for you to provide a payment method each time you pick up a prescription order at a Walmart Pharmacy.

When Your Pharmacy Order Is Charged to Your Credit Card

After you have picked up and signed for your order at your Walmart Pharmacy, the amount of your pharmacy order not covered by insurance is charged to your credit card.

Change the Credit Card You Use for Rx Express Pay

To change the credit card you use for Rx Express Pay, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your pharmacy profile and select the Edit button for Rx Express Pay.
  2. On the Edit Rx Express Pay Information page, click the "Use a different card" link.
  3. Enter new Rx Express Pay information.

If You Deactivate Rx Express Pay

If you deactivate Rx Express Pay, you will still have access to other pharmacy features online.

However, without Rx Express Pay, it will be necessary for you to provide a payment method each time you pick up a prescription order at a Walmart Pharmacy.
