How to Post a Listing
To get started, click the "Post a FREE Listing" button in the upper-right
corner of the site. Then follow the instructions.
In the first step, choose the category and location of your item. In the
second step, describe the item and set a price for it. You can also add up to
four images to your listing. In the last step, preview your listing and when
you are satisfied, click Post to publish it on Walmart.com Classifieds (and
hundreds of other sites across the Oodle
Network).
Your listing will be active for 30 days unless you deactivate it. After 30
days, your listing will expire automatically.

How to Get Listings Posted on the
Oodle Network Sites
We'll do all the work for you. Please remember that not all sites have
listings in all categories (e.g. Local.com Classifieds does not have a jobs
section), and some sites have special requirements about the listings they
display (e.g. listings on Listpic must have a thumbnail image), so your
listing might not show up on every site in the Oodle Network. But once you
post a listing, we?ll make sure it appears everywhere it is eligible.

How to Remove Listings from the
Other Sites
When you deactivate your listing on Walmart.com Classifieds (
see details
below), it will automatically
deactivate from other sites as well. Please note that it may take a day or so
for your listing to be removed from GoogleBase and some other network sites.
Please note that our listings may appear on sites not affiliated with
Walmart.com Classifieds, including search sites such as Google, email groups
such as Yahoo! Groups and website archives such as Archive.org. If you remove
or modify your listing on Walmart.com Classifieds, it may still appear as it
was originally posted on these unaffiliated sites.

How to Include Pictures in
Listings
If you're posting a new listing, you can include up to 4 pictures. If you're
submitting the URL (web address) of a listing that's been posted elsewhere on
the web, you can provide us one picture that will be used as a thumbnail
image for your listing when it appears in our classifieds search results.
You can upload pictures of up to 6MB in GIF, JPG, BMP, or PNG format. We'll
resize your picture for web viewing.
To add pictures, click one of the "Browse..." buttons that show up under the
"Add Images" heading on the "Describe Your Listing" page. Find the picture
file on your computer and click "OK". The picture will then be uploading and
attached to your listing.
If your picture does not show up, you probably used a non-supported format
(such as a PowerPoint file or a Word document). Please save your images as a
GIF, PNG, JPG, or BMP.

Increasing the Chances of Getting
a Response to a Listing
To increase the chance of getting a good response, follow these simple
tips:
- Include one or more pictures in your listing
- Make the title and description as detailed as possible. For example, when
selling a product be sure to include its brand, model, condition, and
features.
- If you are flexible on price, state in your listing that you will accept
"best offer"
- Make it easy for the buyer to pick up the item; let them know where the
item is located and when you will be available
- Tell your friends about Walmart.com Classifieds. The more people who use
Walmart.com Classifieds, the more responses you'll get!

What "Pending" or "Waiting to be
Indexed" Mean
Listings that are "Pending" or "Waiting to be Indexed" are in our system but
have not yet been added to our search index, meaning you won't be able to
find your listing by searching on the site. Listings take approximately 30
minutes to be added to our search index.
If you have waited more than half an hour, but still see that your listing is
"Pending", please try to search for your listing. For location, use the
zip/postal code you entered and the category you chose when posting. If you
see your listing in a search, then your listing is actually no longer
"Pending", even though your web browser may still show it as such. (You can
clear your web browser cookies and cache to fix this problem.)
If you wait more than 3 hours and still cannot find your new listing, please
send us a message including your Listing ID or other details (zip code/postal
code, category, title). Contact us at
classifieds@walmart.com.

in that email that will take you to a page where you can edit or deactivate

Please note that you cannot edit the category or location of your listing. If
you need to change the category or location, please deactivate your listing
and create a new one.

Privacy: How Buyers Contact
Sellers about Listings
When you post a listing or sign in to Walmart.com Classifieds, you enter your
email address. We use that email address to create a "Contact Seller" form
that potential buyers can use to contact you. Buyers will never see your
email address ? the information they enter into the form is collected and
emailed to you by us. That way, you do not have to put your email address or
phone number on the web for anyone to see. For additional information on
your privacy, please read the
Walmart.com
Classifieds Privacy Policy.

After Your Item is Sold
If your item has sold, please remove your listing from the site by
deactivating it (see ?How to Edit or Deactivate a Listing? above). This will
help keep Walmart.com Classifieds clear of listings that aren't available any
more and saves you time by preventing people from contacting you to buy it
after the item is sold.

How to Find Your Listing
Classified listings take approximately 30 minutes to appear on the
Walmart.com Classifieds site from the time of publishing. To see your
listing, go to the category and location where you posted it, look under the
date you posted it, and refresh/reload your browser. You can check the status
of your listing by following the link provided in the activation email.
Please note that the date of your listing does not change when you edit it.

Thumbnail Image Not Showing on a
Listing
If your thumbnail picture isn't showing up, you may have uploaded the picture
in a non-supported format (such as PowerPoint (.ppt), Microsoft Word (.doc),
or .tiff). Please try again with a supported image format (.bmp, .png, .gif,
.jpg).
Also, it may occasionally take up to 30 minutes to add your thumbnail image
to the search results page, so please check back after a few minutes.
If your image is in a supported format and you have waited at least 30
minutes for it to appear as a thumbnail, please contact us at
classifieds@walmart.com and include your
listing ID (if you know it).
