To begin filling a new prescription, you must give us the paper prescription given to you by your doctor. Depending on how you would like to receive your order, you can drop off the prescription at your local Walmart Pharmacy or mail it to us. (Due to Federal regulations, we must have the original prescription; we cannot accept photocopies or other reproductions.)

If you don't have a written prescription
If your doctor has called in a prescription to a specific pharmacy, you will need to pick up the prescription at that pharmacy.

Parents and Caregivers: To use all of the online pharmacy features, each Walmart Pharmacy patient must have an individual pharmacy account set up under their own individual Walmart.com account.

You can refill prescriptions for another Walmart Pharmacy customer by signing in to that customer's online pharmacy account.

If the person does not have an online pharmacy account, you can quickly create one for them and then order their refills.

Creating an online pharmacy account makes it easy to order and manage prescriptions from home. If you are picking up the refills at an in-store Walmart pharmacy, you will also have the option to order the refills without creating an account.
