What the "Report as spam/fraud" Link Does

The "Report as Fraud" link on every listing enables the Walmart.com Classifieds community to moderate the content in Walmart.com Classifieds. By using the "Report as spam/fraud" feature located within the "more info and tools" section of each listing, you call to our attention any post you feel breaks our terms of use, is miscategorized, is fraudulent, or for any reason does not belong. Once reported, the listing is brought to our attention for review and if applicable, deletion.

What the "Mark as unavailable" Link Does

The "Mark as unavailable" link on every listing lets you help us improve the accuracy of the listings on Walmart.com Classifieds. By using the "Mark as unavailable" feature located within the "more info and tools" section of each listing, you'll be letting us know that the listing you have marked is no longer available on its original web page. For example, if you click the title of a listing for a chair and get a message that the listing is no longer available, or reach a search page on another website, the listing is no longer active on its home page. Once reported, our program automatically checks to see if the listing is still active and if it is not, we remove it from the search results.

What to Do about Fraudulent Listings or Apparent Scams

Please report a suspicious listing to us right away. From the search results page, click the "more info and details" link, and then click the "Report as spam/fraud" link. This process will alert us about that listing.

You can then go to the original site of the listing to mark the listing as fraudulent. Click on the title of the listing to go to the host site. Some listings will be hosted by us and some will be hosted by other sites. On the hosting site you can usually find a way to mark the listing as a scam, spam or fraud. When the listing is hosted on our site, you will find a "Tell us" link that will send an email directly to us where it will be reviewed for investigation.

Trusted Listings

Trusted Listings are listings that may provide a lower chance of fraud or scams due to the policies of the seller. For example, Oodle may label a listing as a Trusted Listing if the seller guarantees to offer a refund if fraud or scams occur in their transaction. We cannot guarantee that a Trusted Listing will not be associated with fraud or scams, however, so basic safety guidelines should be followed for all transactions. Read more about avoiding fraud in our Safety Center.
