Use only on the products listed on the bottle. Do not use for anything coming in contact with food. This is a creamy liquid, to be applied to a cloth, then applied to the item and then buffed to a beautiful shine. If the item is very dirty/tarnished, expect to use alot of elbow grease and maybe more than one application. It is worth the effort, though. Gives a beautiful, hard shine.

this product "Brasso" works great cleaning my brass lamps, discolored brass handles on bureaus and even doorknobs.

product really works and fast, fumes are intense, probably should wear a mask when polishing brass, had a hard time finding this product, again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,until I tried Jet.

I am using Brasso to polish brass on an old boat. 8 oz used generously has polished 7 light fixtures. It takes A LOT of elbow grease but the fixtures were in terrible condition and never thought they would come out as good as they did. Even the pitted areas were able to be polished up. I would recommend this for any brass boat fixture.

Works good!

Best product for cleaning brass but requires some elbow grease. I also tried soap and water, Scrubbing Bubbles, Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner, white vinegar and ammonia which didn't work. I have 2 huge, decorative, hammered brass vases that were severely tarnished. To cut down on the elbow grease and time involved, I used table ketchup with salt sprinkled on the rag, rinsed, dried, then a very thin coating of Brasso and polished. Amazing results with less elbow grease and time!

The container is designed tall, narrow and thin; I assume to fool the consumer into believing it contains more than it does and/or to make it seem tall in the display. Its impossible/frustrating to squeeze the container because the sides are practically touching each other by design. Horrible design - probably by the company's marketing geniuses.
