Active D-Lighting mode provides real-time highlight and shadow correction with optimized image contrast for broader tone reproduction. The Nikon D300 12.3 MP DSLR Camera also features magnesium alloy construction and compatibility with a wide range of Nikkor AF and DX lenses.
