Growth. It is the one word that exemplifies Kierra Sheard and her third EMI Gospel release BOLD RIGHT LIFE. Fans have literally watched her grow up in the industry from a much-talked about young prodigy of a legendary Gospel family to today's chic and sassy young woman, Kierra presents a grown-up style, sound and spiritual perspective that is all hers. The collection of songs that make-up BOLD RIGHT LIFE are all cutting edge material that puts Kierra Sheard in a different league from the others in today's contemporary Gospel landscape.
BOLD RIGHT LIFE the album that Kierra (Not KiKi) calls "THE" Album is the perfect mix of vocals and production. Starting at home with her brother J Drew Sheard (JDS Production) they crafted the head bobbing beats to "Won't Hold Back" and "Boyfriend" coupled with Kierra's lyrics. Pulling out the big beats Kierra recruited music man Warryn Campbell to create her harder edged tracks "Wave Your Banner," "One," "Love Like Crazy" and "If It Had Not Been." All hot beats aside there are absolutely big turning-point songs on this project. With God being the focus "Invisible," "Oh Lord," and "Praise Him Now" you feel the heart of Kierra, her worship and desire for people to see and seek HIM.
This Grammy nominated artist has crafted the strongest disc of her short career. BOLD RIGHT LIFE is the kind of music that builds longevity, and now there's only Kierra's bold right life that is ahead of her.

Contemporary gospel singer Kierra "KiKi" Sheard was born into the genre. As the daughter of Karen Clark-Sheard, founding member of the Clark Sisters, and granddaughter of Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, one of gospel's most influential and celebrated figures, "KiKi" spent her formative years in Detroit surrounded by family, faith, and music. She sang in the choir as a young girl in the church where her father, Rev. J. Drew Sheard, preached, and at the age of nine appeared on the hit single "The Safest Place," a duet with her mother from the successful Finally Karen record. At the age of 17 she released her debut album, I Owe You, combining the worlds of gospel, hip-hop, and soul into a contemporary sound that's both reverent and forward-thinking. It was followed in 2006 by This Is Me. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide
