Using a Wal-Mart Gift Card at Walmart.com
Using a Wal-Mart Gift Card online at Walmart.com is simple:
- Find a product you would like to purchase and place it in your cart.
- When you check out, you will have the option to pay for your entire order or a portion of your order with a Wal-Mart Gift Card.
- Simply click "Use a Wal-Mart Gift Card," and enter your card number and PIN.
- Your card balance will be automatically applied to your order total.
If your order total is less than the amount on your Wal-Mart Gift Card, the remaining amount will be available on your card for future purchases.
If your order total is more than the amount on your Wal-Mart Gift Card, you will need to pay for the balance with additional Wal-Mart Gift Cards or a credit card.

How Quickly You Can Use Your Wal-Mart Gift Card
For most Gift Cards, there is no activation process required for using your Wal-Mart Gift Card.
For Gift Cards that were purchased as a part of an order of 25 or more cards, or if the total value of the cards in the order was over $250, then the original purchaser will need to activate the cards before they can be used. An email with activation instructions is sent to the original purchaser.

You can use a Wal-Mart plastic Gift Card that has a PIN at any Wal-Mart store and online at Walmart.com. Sam's Club members can also use a Wal-Mart plastic Gift Card that has a PIN at any Sam's Club store location in the United States as well as online at Samsclub.com. If your card does not have a PIN, you can use it only in a Wal-Mart store or Sam's Club.

You can use a Wal-Mart eGift Card at Walmart.com, and Sam's Club members can also use it online at Samsclub.com.

PIN Numbers
A PIN is a personal identification number that is unique to your Wal-Mart Gift Card. It is located on the back of your Wal-Mart plastic Gift Card in the bottom right corner under the silver scratch-off area.

Buying Items That Cost More or Less Than the Card Amount
If your order total is less than the amount on your Wal-Mart Gift Card, the remaining amount will be available on your card for future purchases.

Storing Gift Card Information in Your Account
You can store up to two Wal-Mart Gift Cards in your account at any given time.
Storing Wal-Mart Gift Card information is a convenient time-saver. You don't have to re-enter the Wal-Mart Gift Card number and PIN when redeeming the card. This information is securely stored in your account, making your Wal-Mart Gift Cards available for selection when you are paying for an order.
To store a Wal-Mart Gift Card, follow these easy steps:
- In My Account, select the "Gift Card/Trial Offer Balances" link.
- Click the Store Gift Card button and enter the requested information.

If You Don't Have a PIN
For your security, we can accept only cards with a PIN. You can find your PIN on the back of your card in the bottom right corner under the silver scratch-off area. If you have a Wal-Mart eGift Card, your card number and PIN were located in the email we sent you.
If you have a plastic Gift Card that doesn't have a PIN, you can use it at a store but you cannot use it online at Walmart.com. You can also trade it in for a new card with a PIN at any local Wal-Mart store or Sam's Club in the United States.

Paying With More Than One Wal-Mart Gift Card
If you would like to use more than one Wal-Mart Gift Card to pay for your purchase, simply click "Use a Wal-Mart Gift Card" during checkout. Once you have entered the first card, you will see it appear on your Purchase Summary, and you can click "Use Another Wal-Mart Gift Card" and enter up to four Wal-Mart Gift Cards per order.

If You Don't Have a Password
If you placed an order for Wal-Mart plastic Gift Cards that is equal to or greater than 25 cards or $250, you should have received a password in the activation email that was sent when your order was shipped. If you cannot find this email, or did not receive one, please email
Walmart.com Customer Service and an associate will be happy to help you.

Wal-Mart Gift Card Returns and Refunds
Wal-Mart Gift Cards are not returnable or refundable for cash except in states where required by law. If you decide to return merchandise that you purchased using your Wal-Mart Gift Card, the refunded amount will be credited directly back to your Wal-Mart Gift Card.
Please do not throw away your Wal-Mart plastic Gift Card unless you are sure of your purchase, and make certain you save the Wal-Mart eGift Card email.

Activating a Wal-Mart Gift Card
For
your security, we will require you to activate any Wal-Mart plastic Gift Cards purchased in an order of 25 cards and/or $250 or more. You will recieve an email with a password that you can use to activate the cards following these steps:
- Go to Gift Cards.
- Click "Activate New Cards" in the left-hand column.
- Enter your order number and the password you received in the email.
All cards in the order will then be active and can be used in any Wal-Mart store or online at Walmart.com. Sam's Club members can also use the cards at any Sam's Club store location in the United States as well as online at Samsclub.com.

Checking Your Balance
To check the current balance on your Wal-Mart Gift Card, go to "My Account" and click "Gift Card/Trial Offer Balances." You will be asked to provide your Wal-Mart Gift Card number and PIN. A list of your most recent transactions and your current balance will be displayed.
You can also take your card to any store register or call 1-888-537-5503 to check your balance.

Lost or Stolen Wal-Mart Gift Cards
Treat your Wal-Mart Gift Cards just like cash. If your card is lost or stolen, we unfortunately cannot replace or refund the money remaining on the card. If you have stored your Wal-Mart Gift Card information, you may still use that Wal-Mart Gift Card to make online purchases, provided the lost or stolen card has not been redeemed by someone.
