To begin filling a new prescription, send us a copy of the paper prescription or take it in to a Walmart Pharmacy. Once we have the paper prescription, you can order refills online as needed or set them up to happen automatically.

If you're filling your prescriptions elsewhere, it's simple to switch to Walmart and take advantage of our value and convenience. Provide us with your contact and prescription information, and we'll do the rest.
Order refills online and choose how to receive your prescriptions:
In-Store Pickup: Place your order from home, work or wherever, and we'll have it ready to pickup at the Walmart of your choice.
Home Delivery: Order online and have your prescriptions delivered right to your door (not available with our $4 Prescriptions Program).
You can also set up automatic refills, so your next refill will always be ready on time, either at your door or at your local Walmart. For in-store orders, we'll send you an email to let you know they're ready.
Medications from our $4 Prescriptions Program make up nearly 40% of the prescriptions Walmart pharmacies dispense each year, and include preventive medications as well as treatments for conditions and diseases in over 18 categories. See if yours is on the list. If it isn't listed, check with your doctor to see if there is an equivalent medication that is on the list.
Keeping track of the dates, number of refills and costs for all of your prescriptions is simple with your online pharmacy account. All of the prescriptions and refills you've ordered online and at your Walmart Pharmacy will be available for review.
Have all of your pharmacy expenses listed in an easy-to-read summary. Set your desired date range and a report will be generated that shows the cost of each prescription you ordered during that period, as well as your total expenses. Print or save it for your records.
