This basketball system is worth the 1500 i paid for it. Much cheaper here then anywhere else. Closest I found was on amazon, which was 1599. The system works great. Barely any shaking when I shoot, although I have not tried dunking. Probably wouldnt want anyone dunking on it anyways...especially when I spent $1500. Very easy to set up. The tough part was digging a 48 inch hole that was 2'X2' and mixing the concrete to fill it. Setting up the pole and backboard was very simple. I recommend having at least two strong friends. We didnt turn the bolt to lift up the pole and backboard like the instructions said to. The bolt was way to hard to turn with all that weight. So we had two people lift the pole and backboard while one turn the bolt slowly. I did have some extra bolts, nuts, and washer left over. Not sure why. The bolts and nuts werent exactly like the instructions but I still got it to look and work great. Backboard foam pad didnt come with it, allthough the picture clearly shows it. I called spalding and they sent me one, so everything was good. I'm glad I choose tempered glass . The rebound is so much better. Overall I would reccommend this, but if you're going to spend this much money then get the 72" backboard.

I haven't set it up yet but have anchored the base in the concrete and am currently waiting for it to cure. All boxes have been opened and all parts have been inventoried. This goal is very heavy duty. Parts all look really nice and have very good coatings. I am extremely impressed thus far and have seen many competitor goals as I shopped this buy for a month. It looks heavier built and has the extra center supports in the center of backboard so you won't get that thud sound that most arena views have. Another nice feature is how it is assembled on the ground then has a hinge system to raise onto base using only 2 people. Look forward to seeing the final product and shooting the first hoops with my son! GO HEELS!
