Antonio Banderas dances just like Fred Astaire he's gracious I like this movie very much kind of reminds me of the older dancing movie's when dancing was the norm

I like this type of movie for a change. Shows how our tough youth can learn to improve on their abilities and follow a helping hand.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Muckadoodle Sensual scenes
The best part of the movie is when Antonio has the professional dancer come to the school and he shows the students the beauty of the dance. Before that scene, he was not able to reach the students. OMG Antonio is so hot in this scene. This scene makes the movie.

I had never watched this movie but I am a huge fan of Antonio Banderas so I had a feeling it would be an awesome movie, I have other movies of him as well. I watched this movie & absolutely loved it, I personally think it is a movie for the whole family to watch there is comedy, romance, & dancing. How much better can it get than this. A side note: This Spaniard can dance. Absolutely recommend this.

The movie is very inspirational. It would be great if every inner city student would get the opportunity to participate in a ballroom dance. It would be an experience that they would never forget. The trust and friendship they would develop will be with them the rest of their lives. Great movie. Loved it.
Rated 5 out of 5 by You1st Great Movie, Great Message!!!
This movie featured Antonio Banderas and fashion model Yaya DaCosta and released mainstream cinema on April 7, 2006. This movie depicts the success of teaching inner city kids’ in detention how to ballroom dance and how to step out of their element to embrace something new and to appreciate other types of culture. These students found a positive outlet in dance and the importance of looking above the part! You can't go wrong with this movie- just add it to your collection because you can watch it over and over!

Take The Lead is a great movie. You can't loose with Antonio Banderas. Deals with inner city kids and how they stepped out of their element to learn ballroom dancing and to appreciate other types of culture.
Rated 5 out of 5 this is a must see movie and inspiring as well. From a group of gangster student to well class ball room dancer. I found this movie to be the greatest movie I have ever seen.
