I used this backpack for one of my trips recently and found it to be very convenient. I could fit my Nikon D5100 DSLR and an additional lens easily and still had lot of space left. I like the arrangeable compartments inside. Bag is very lightweight and easy to carry. Material of the backpack is very durable too. I took it to the beach and I could remove the sand and dirt from the bag easily. Will definitely recommend this backpack.

This backpack is sturdy, well constructed, versatile, and suits my needs perfectly. I wanted something to not only carry my camera but also my tripod and this does more than that. I don't have a lot of lenses so I have plenty of room for other things and I love the extra zippered pouch on the side. On my next vacation/trip I will be using this instead of a purse. I will be able to carry everything I need in a comfortable backpack. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
Rated 2 out of 5 by VDev The bag is pretty light alright, but, I found the compartment separator to be too stiff and I wasn't able to fit in my Canon DSLR with a telephoto zoom lens. I tried to flex the compartment separator, but, I just couldn't. It was too stiff. If I have to remove my lens every time I have to stow my camera, sorry, I'm not doing it.
Also, since its very light, I'm not sure how it will fit well for sloppy and clumsy hands. If you drop the backpack either side, I'm not so sure that my camera will stay safe.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Arrowcatcher Much better than multiple big shoulder bags
I do a lot of photography, sometimes for hire, and carrying my primary Sony Alpha DSLR, lens, backup camera, flash, and miscellaneous filters around in multiple bulky shoulder bags is very cumbersome. I've always done it that way, but this backpack idea turns out to be much better. The shoulder straps are far more comfortable than straps around the neck (even when padded). Plus the backpack is not directly in your way constantly like shoulder bags.
The inside of the camera backpack is configurable with movable dividers and has more than enough room for all my stuff. It isn't emblazoned with big brand name letters such as "Canon", etc., so it's not obviously full of expensive camera equipment. I never buy and carry branded camera bags for just this reason. Could just be school textbooks in this bag for all anyone knows. The backpack just says "Filemate".
It also includes a fitted "raincoat" you can easily put over the bag in case of bad weather. That's a nice touch to protect your equipment.
The backpack is padded and also includes a number of zipper pouches inside and out. The main zippers are arranged to make it easy to open for full access such as in airplane security lines. It looks and feels well made.

just what I was looking for

This backpack will hold my camera and so much more. Don't think I will need to carry a pocketbook when sightseeing and traveling. Navy color is a true navy, almost black. Very nice!
