This air purifier surpassed expectations, running on low is usually sufficient for our space. Great for household with smokers! This product will clean a very large area with no problem. Overall I am very pleased with this product.

I did the research,found this air purifier scored very high on the ratings scale for efficiency and tru air cleaning. I also researched the price and guess what? Walmart had it 40.00 cheaper that any other store so I ordered online and picked up in store. What could be easier or healthier!

I have allergies so bad, that I was recently hospitalized. I was told that I have to get my allergies under control. One of the doctors recommended I get a hepa filter. I did my research on-line and this particular filter was the highest rated for the value and efficiency. I am very pleased with it. I wish it were more attractive and would blend in with my furniture, but it doesn't. Currently I need to cart if from the livingroom to the bedroom daily. As soon as I can affort to get another one, I definitely will. It's been money well spent for me. Extra bonus, I don't have to dust as much! We live in a rural area which brings in dust. I use to have to dust my television screen daily, now it's once a week!

I really like this unit as it is fairly quiet but seems to move a lot of air. I had to return the first one as the fan was out of balance and was very noisy. I returned it to the local walmart with very little hassle. I re-ordered with the hope that the first unit was just an isolated problem. I recieved the new unit in a few days. It works great. Seem to help my allergies a lot. Also eleminated a musty odor from a somewhat humid basement.

I bought this air cleaner to keep the cigarette smoke from my neighbor's apt. from polluting my apt. It does a pretty good job for most of the time, but sometimes her cigarettes even overwhelm this high powered air cleaner. All in all I think it is a good product. I probably need to get another one to put in here to do double duty. This does 500sq feet and my apt. is about 700sq feet. It's quiet when running. I like that about it. It has cut down on about 3/4 of the dust that was a huge problem here, and is now just minimal. I think it does all it is expected to do; a good product, but a little pricey I feel.

I bought this specific one because I stay in my parents basment and it is a very open area therefore I wanted something that could clean the most square footage. My basement is half finished and I was worried about the mold spores that may be in the air. And it also had that typical basement smell. After getting this purifier I did notice that smell almost disappeared and there was a huge reduction in dust. However I still have move it around from room to room , which is ok for me. It isn't heavy at all. It is big, but not to big for us or the space we have now. I can always find a wall to put it on. It is built to be out up against the wall which helps because I don't think people notice it too much. I don't think that it is loud even when running on high nor do i think that the lights are too bright on the front of this machine. I think it looks very nice! I also love the indicator lights that tell you when the filters need to be changed. There is no need to remember any dates! It was worth the lil chunk of tax $ i spent on it, Overall I am satisfied with my purchase

I'm not sure that this air purifier is really helping reduce the allergens in our room. The low fan is quiet enough. It does also seem to put off some heat as we run it constantly. Seems like a quality machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1Mason1 I purchased this air purifier based on consumer reports top rating for smoke removal. Well worth the money. Works great. Bought a second one to keep house clear of smoke without having to move one around all the time. Even on high the noise is very tolerable.

This is a well-built unit that we have run non-stop for about a month. It's wonderful and I'm considering buying another one as well. 4 speeds available which can come in handy if you want to use it while you sleep (and don't like too much fan noise) and the air coming out of it is fresh and smells good. This model has tons of excellent reviews on amazon and other sites and so that's what confirmed my purchase. I would strongly recommend this product.

My basement no longer smells musty, and there is no lingering trace of cigarette smoke. This purifier really works. It is also very quiet. I am ordering another one for upstairs.

I did a lot of research on different purifiers and I couldn't be happier HEPA was definitely the way to go. The level of filtering, sound, and room size was perfect for me.

Nice product but effective only with higher power settings which increases machine noise. Has helped my allergies but not solved them.

I have horrible pollen & dust allergies. We live in Arizona which is very windy, dusty & has plenty of pollen. I live near a huge pecan orchard and an open pit mine (lots of dust!) The filter doesn't totally handle the air (& my symptoms), but it helps. It definitely reduces the dust in the air. I remove the front cover & vacuum the thin prefilter (a black, thin spongy material) every couple of weeks and it's FULL of dust. Nice to know I'm not breathing that!
My old air filter (no longer being manufactured) also had a carbon tray to remove toxins which I wish this one had. That's why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5.
It's loud on the highest setting but I find that soothing at night.
