Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for small camp sites or weekend camping. Little on the heavy side but wanted something I could take up into the mountains and use like a grill...I gave it 5's across the board cause it's simple, strong, and worth the $30...should last a long while, I have had mine for 6 months now and has gone from the salty waters of the beach to the cold rains of the mountains and still cleans up well. Will definitely take with me every time I go camping, holds my cast iron skillet with ease while cooking up some sausage and eggs while heating up my coffee pot for a good morning breakfast. Much better than my old light weight stainless one that I was always skeptical about it folding up on the weight of my skillet. Definitely wouldn't take it backpacking in the mountains, unless someone else carried it, then It would be a great addition to the camp! 10/27/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does the job! Just got done using it this weekend at a bare bones campsite. No E/W or grill so we used this to cook pork chops one night and brats the next. Worked like a champ! Heavy duty so I agree you wouldn't want to lug it everywhere, but for our purposes it was great. First night we had a wood fire, the second a charcoal and it cooked everything up like a dream. I sprayed it with a a bit of Pam so that items wouldn't stick and see if that would make clean up easier. Before I packed it, I wiped it down and it did well. Sturdy and useful - will definitely use again. 06/25/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fun and handy for tenting and backyard firepit. We took this grill camping, and it worked out great! It fit around the fire ring at our sight, easy to set up and take off again (Using fire mitts), and was a good size to get all our food cooking. Hot dogs worked well directly on the grill over hot coals. Burgers were better when the grill was covered with foil and the the fire was higher. We tried bacon, but the grease dripped and got the fire roaring, so that was charred up and started a bit of a grease fire. If someone had been standing too close or tossed water on it, they would have been badly burned. Save the bacon for stove top. As for durability, the extreme heat of the roaring fire removed a little paint, and my husband says it warped while very hot, but went right back when cooled. We plan to paint it with some stove paint. Folds up nicely for packing and storage. Overall, I am pleased with this item for the money. 08/17/2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Works excellent Loved this product. Works great for the fire. You can cook almost anything on this. It's a little heavy if you're hiking somewhere with it but if your just camping and driving there it's excellent. 08/11/2015
