I used to manage a store that sold Bush furniture and this particular model presents extreme difficulty when trying to match up the hutch with the desk after you have gotten those two separate parts assembled. The problem is that the metal posts that are screwed in and used with locking sections together have to be perfectly straight. It is nearly impossible to do this by hand without a tool or mechanism to make sure they are straight. If the posts are off as much as a 64th of an inch they won't match up into the drilled holes containing the European style locking mechanisms. So when you have the desk lying on it's side you find that many will not fit. I ended up pulling several of them out because they wouldn't fit into the holes. This weakens the fit and I had to be extremely careful when lifting the desk & hutch up to stand it up. Fortunately I lift weights and the 200 lbs wasn't too difficult for me, but there were moments of doubt. It is standing now and looks good, but I must warn buyers that this is a very, very tough assembly job. Also it scratches very easily.
Rated 1 out of 5 by bones terrible instructions, product broke dur
should be upfront in sales ad about the fact it is flimsy waferboard construction, not wood. instructions were so poor, it broke during assembly abd left big unsightly waferboard holes in the hutch which we had to repair with plastic wood and wood glue etc. very wobbly and heavy to move. backing was close to useless, very poor quality for vey high price. nice color and size.

I love it. This desk is something I have wanted for a long while. I shopped around before buying here. [...] It has been a pleasure to have. It's not a high dollar desk, but it does it job, looks great, has a lot of storage. My husband and son put it together, which they said it was not easy. Even my husband likes it who is picky about everything. Try it you'll like it.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Miles away from home Very nice product
The dimensions of the unit were 59.5" x 29.5" which fit perfectly into my 60" x 29" living room "nook." The assembly was not as complicated as other reviews stated, but you should plan between 6 to 8 hours for assembly...and a cordless drill/screwdrive is a MUST! Overall, I am quite happy with the product[...]

Minor problems during assembly. Definitely takes two to assemble. Very solid once fully assembled though. Would definitely recommend.
