Rated 5 out of 5 by bssonline these worked better than I expected. like anything, if you follow the directions for properly wearing them, they work. if you try to just put them on like your other headphone devices, you will be disappointing.
I don't like earmuff hearing protection - I sweat too much, and plugs that go into the ear canal are a problem if your ears produce too much wax. these are great! the stay on the outside of the ear canal, are lightweight and don't get in the way. I can wear them for hours.
Rated 4 out of 5 by bishop1978 I shot trap at an outdoor range this weekend. I was able to hear the instructor very well. I cant comment on indoor use. Overall, I was impressed with the product.
Rated 4 out of 5 Very interesting b/c it actually works well.
I am very please with how they work. I don't know how they work, but they do. I can hear my coworkers, but they drastically reduce the sound of the saws and nailers.
Only problem is they don't adjust down small enough for me, but I made an adjustment with a sliver of plastic in the hinge that corrected the angle. For the money, its' worth trying.

This ear product works really good. It fixed the problem that I was having with full ear muffs rubbing up against the stock of the gun and sometimes being pushed off. The only reason I did not give it five stars is it seems a little expensive for what you get.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kazamere Best light weight hearing protection
I have used the Allen Co. sound sensor for many years and recently replaced one that was stolen from my hotel room by the house keeping crew. It is light weight, significantly reduces noise, and can be kept comfortably in standby around my neck. It works for most by not all power tools and most firearms except the really loud ones. I only use my muffs for just one tool in my shop.
