Rated 5 out of 5 by This was one of the cheapest machines I found. Usually wiith cheap, you don't get much power. This machine did the job! I had a huge stain right by my front door, it was the first thing people saw when they walked in. It got to be embarrassing, but this machine took it right out. Although it took the big stain out... there were still a few smaller stains that still remain. I suggest pre-treating before actually using the machine. Overall, I love it! Lightweight, easy to clean, easy to store. 10/14/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great cleaner for my small jobs I love my Bissell PowerForce PowerBrush Deep Cleaning System I have dogs and they sometimes wet on the carpet and all I have to do is grab the Bissell Cleaner and its all gone. I just wished I would have gotten one back when I was house breaking puppies. I believe anyone with a puppy or dogs should have a Bissell PowerForce PowerBrush Deep Cleaning System. Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a good basic carpet cleaner so far. Probably more suitable for spot cleaning as it has a small water tank. However, I am disabled and would not have been able to handle a bigger machine. It got a lot of dirt out of my carpet as well as some stains. I do have ultra short, indoor/outdoor type carpet so don't know how it would work on longer length carpet. 09/29/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by An Amazing Cleaner!!!! I just purchased the cleaner last night and I couldn't wait until this morning to write a review. OMG...what an amazing carpet cleaner. I bought this cleaner because it was the least expensive and the only cleaner rated 5 stars. This thing was so easy to assemble out of the box that my 4 year old neice put it together by herself. All I had to do is screw three screws into the handle, drop in the water tank, and it was ready to go. I am very impressed with the Bissell Powerforce Powerbrush cleaning sytem. I have light tan (almost white) carpet that stayed clean up until the point that my new puppy left urine stains all over it. The method of spraying the cleaner and blotting up the mess with a towel only made the stains worse. I thought my carpet was doomed until I did about 6 passes over the stain with my new Bissell. It was very light weight and easy to use. My 10 year old son was able to finish cleaning the carpet. He said, "Mommy this is much better than the Rugdoctor you rented because you were sweating the last time you cleaned the carpet". I couldn't have said it better myself. The water tank is not very big but I found it very simple and effortless to dump the old water and refill the tank. Buy this machine...you will be pleased! 11/30/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by I can't imagine a better value for the money I just used this purchase for the first time and if it died right now, I still have my use out of it. I moved into a rental property that has a carpet you could plant vegetables in! It was filthy! I opened the box and it took less than 5 minutes to assemble. I read the instruction book, which took no more than 5 minutes, inserted the 3 screws, added the cleaning solution and water and began the task at hand. The carpet is not a high pile carpet, so I cannot comment on its usage for plush carpet. However, this is a great value for low pile carpet. I had in mind that I would attempt to use this and if there was the slightest problem, it would go right back to the store without a question. But, it actually did the job. Pros: Economical, light weight, easy to assemble, ease of use., does the job. Cons: Emptying the dirty water tank was a bit tricky the first time. I didn't do it quite right. The second time was a breeze! Summary: Thanks Walmart for providing me with an efficient and economical product. Do not hesitate to make this purchase. It's worth every penny you spend on it. 12/17/2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by Can't be beat for the price Just purchased this unit a little while ago. I had it set up and ready to go in 2 minutes. Here's the thing.....if you have a whole houseful of carpet to clean this is not the unit for you. I needed it to clean a 9x11 room. If I called someone it would have cost me the same price and I would have to wait until during the week. I bought it, set it up and was finished in less than 2 hours, total. Great machine for one room at a time or spot cleaning. If your house is a filthy pig sty call a professional. The solution tank had to be filled a few times to get me through and the recovery tank had to be emptied the same amount of times, logically. Clean water went in and dirty water came out. That told me that dirt was being removed and that's what I needed it to do so......it's all good! I love the ease of use and ease of cleanup afterwards. As soon as the next bedroom is empty I'll do that one also. Nice, economical unit. Should last quite a while as it seems pretty sturdy. I have no use for a $500 carpet cleaner but for $89 I think I did very well. 03/04/2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good little machine - no extra bells/whistles We needed a machine basically for two large carpets in our house - all else is tile. Used once on each and so far happy with results. Machine is lightweight and not made of very sturdy -- hopefully will last thru more cleanings. Go to a bigger Bissell if you have large areas 11/06/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this lightweight machine I dont know what I would have done without this cleaner when my dog had the runs all over my carpet. It will take out very old stains too...I had to go over the set in stain about 30-40 swipes. I did squirt a lot of the liquid on it to help. Overall I highly recommend the price cant be beat. 11/27/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Small but good. I bought this after reading the reviews and so far it has lived up to it's rating. It is easy to use, store and is light weight. I have a HUGE great room that had a very filthy carpet. I have two kids with lots of sports bags that get thrown on the carpet and a husband who works outside. I also have a naughty black lab with a sensitive stomach and loose bowels. I was looking for something to use in between professional carpet cleanings and this did the trick. It took a while and a lot of filling and emptying, but my great room looks sooo much better. I wish I would have bought this years ago. One feature I like a lot is the weight and the ease of use. I have had two shoulder surgeries and this was so easy to push around, that after hours of using it, neither I nor the Bissell were wore out. The tanks are easy to fill and easy to empty. I would definitely recommend this to my friends, especially for the low price. 03/29/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by cleans great, my issue is that the screws behind the motor tends to loosens after several container of water, may be from the vibration of the motor. I tried two within 90 days, the 2nd was worst the handle was moving slightly back and forth when you pull the vacuum towards you. 07/06/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by great for the price With a new puppy I am Soo glad we have this cleaner. It works great for a spot cleaner. I think too small for whole house duty.(i said duty, LOL) Anyway, I would clean an entire room with this if I really had to, but it does have a small cleaning path width as well as a fairly small holding tank for the cleaner. A 10X10 area took the whole tank for a good cleaning. The only good thing about that is the tank only requires a very small amount of the cleaner fluid, the rest is all water. It seems like 100 to 1 ratio of cleaner to water or even less. This is a very good buy in my book. 01/16/2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Amazed at how dirty my carpet really was.... I will start by saying that I bought this yesterday, assembled it today- used it in 3 rooms and then it over-heated and started making a scary noise- I took it back to Walmart and exchanged for another- now to the actual review of how it works... Amazing- that is about all I can say. i like to think that I keep my house clean. I was pretty grossed out after I cleaned my carpets- The water that I dumped out did not look clean at all....I was amazed!!! My living room carpet looks brand new! And, it dried in about 2 hours. I also did the 3 kids bedrooms and mine- didnt notice much of a difference on my shag like carpet, but everything else looks great. My only issue, besides returning the first one- is the tank size. I assumed that the tank would last longer than it does- I have a pretty small living room and we refilled the tank 4-5 times. SO, if you are doing it alone, it does take some extra time to fill up the tank and empty the dirty water. Also, make sure you clean out the brushes too, the pick up a lot of hair- if you have a household of women, like I do. Overall, as long as this one doesn't break too, I am soooooo impressed. My carpet looks like it did when I bought it 3 years ago. 06/09/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by It is so handy! I got this cleaner because I have rugs instead of carpeting. I also have 2 dogs that shed terribly. It"s compact, lightweight and really handles well. The suction is good. The rug didn't feel really wet when I was done. It did a great job on the dog hair. While the water tank is on the small side, it is just right for my needs. Perfect for a quick cleanup. I did use it on my bedroom carpet and it cleaned it really well. I was afraid that because of the low price that it would be cheaply made, but it is very sturdy. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great carpet cleaner for families with kids I read the reviews on this product and decided to purchase it. I'm glad I did. I got tired of hiring expensive carpet cleaning companies every 3 to 6 months. If you want to save money and get your carpet cleaned I highly recommend this product.....it really works. Just keep pressing the nozzle to release the solution while pushing the cleaner. Spots WILL disappear! That seems to big the trick. 01/06/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Little Machine Great machine for smaller clean ups. Water tank is small, so if you have a large area to clean need to refill water tank several times. Otherwise as powerful as the larger Bissel and does an excellent job. The price for this machine is excellent, it's easy to manuever, doesn't weigh a ton like the larger models. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone. 11/11/2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by Better than commercial carpet cleaners! My husband and I bought this after doing quite a bit of research on carpet cleaners. We wanted something that got the job done without breaking the bank. This is exactly what we were looking for. We were able to get stains out of carpet that have been there for 1 1/2 years. We couldn't believe it. We also have 2 dogs and a cat. It worked excellent in getting up stains from them, as well. It works better than any commercial carpet cleaning machine that we have used and it is much more cost-efficient. The only thing I wish it had is an upholstery cleaning tool but for this price, I can't complain. We love this and would HIGHLY recommend it! 06/19/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Small but effective! Ordered on-line and was waiting for me when I arrived. The unit is small/lightweight but more powerful than I expected. I cleaned a carpet in my home office that was in dire need. After a deep vacuum I washed it and was pretty surprised at the result. The carpet knapp came right back. When it dried after a short period of time then I vacuumed again and I am very pleased. Also, It took me about 5 min. out of the box to assemble. Both the fill tank and dirty water tank were easy to manuever. Seems like a durable product. I also cleaned a couple of areas of my LR carpet with excellent results. 01/12/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Surprised Very surprised how good this little machine worked !!!! Got out every spot I had on my light colored carpet- looks and feels like new !!!!!!!! It is lightweight and easy to use- it actually made carpet cleaning enjoyable. I think it even cleans better than the larger Bissel model I had previously- which was such a chore to use. Read all the reviews before I purchased this one and it has lived up to all the reviews !!!! 09/10/2012

It was a real disapointment. Then bought a better model still bissel brand. So we'll see how this one works. 07/08/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pertfect for small apartments Easy to use and clean up. The rotating power brush really cleans well. Pulls out almost all of the water it delivers leaving the carpet almost dry. Takes the hassle out of those small chores like high traffic areas or when the kids spill. Works great for whole rooms too. Definitely worth every penny. 06/10/2012
