There will still be areas of the baby's skin that will be exposed to the sun. Try to use sunscreen on the hands and feet of the baby, sine this shade won't reach that far down. Overall the shade is easy to use and adjust. It's easier than an umbrella and protects well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KimBear80 I can use this shade for my son's umbrella stroller and his standard handlebar stroller. He loves it cause it 'hides' him. Great product for a great price. Love the side pockets too. One of the side pockets has an extra pocket for something smaller.

This cover is exactly what I was looking for. It fits well on our Baby Trend Expedition Jogger and on an older stroller that we use to cruise the mall and at Grandma's. It attaches easily with velcro. It can be a little tricky to fold it back up into the built in pocket that it is supposed to fit into, but that seemed to get easier the more we used it. With strong gusts of wind it will fly up, but the wind has to be pretty strong! The price was great, cheaper than other websites! Thanks!

I was excited wen i recieved it, but wen put it together to fit on my daughtesr's stoller it was a total headache! i had purchashed, The First Years - Jet Lightweight Stroller, Butterfly, from warlmart.com and i saw that the shade was too small..... so then i ordered the rayshade for it.... and it is just a hassle to put on and off, especially taking the stroller onto the bus or train wen u need to close up the stroller fast. i just wanted something simple that snap on and off, but this one has to many buckles and stuff which make u go in circles...

This has been very helpful. I purchased it to go on the The First Years-Jet Lightweight stroller and it fits perfectly and really keeps my son shaded on top and both sides very well. Very pleased with this purchase and cost. I have already given several recommendations on it from other moms seeing me walking my son around the park.

I bought this to extend the shade of my Jeep umbrella stroller. It hooks on easily and works okay....until the wind blows. It's pretty flimsy. Might work better with a stroller that has a bigger canopy that you want to extend. Also seems like it would be better out of a different material. Still deciding if it's going back.

Purchased this as an add on to the existing cover to our Baby Trend jogger stroller. Attaches easily and provides extended shade from the sun. It sits low over our child and he is out of harmful UV rays. A must buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by draws I live in the south so sun shades are a must . I have two of these one is 4 yrs old and the other is 2 yrs old neither show ANY sign of wear. I never take them off my stroller, I just fold up the stroller up with them attached. This is a great product and I would recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mom2Noemie I love the shade that this provides and how easy it is to attach, but I have two (one for each daughter) and one of them ripped in the very first week of use. The other one is fine, so I'm hoping it was just a dud. I'm a little annoyed, but I really couldn't go back to living without this thing so in the end I'll deal with it.

I purchased this for an umbrella stroller, this does not work well on an umbrella stroller because the shade is too flimsy. I think it would do fine on a regular stroller, that is why I gave it a four stars. I wish the manufacture would have suggested that this be used for a regular stroller only. At the price I paid I was not too upset about this. I will just pass it along to someone with a regular stroller so they can use it.

Love this product & such a value. Other shades cost way more money! Keeps the sun out & my baby's more shaded. The only downfall is if it's windy it does move around. I have 2, one for each stroller. A must have!!!!

I bought this shade to strap to our first years umbrella stroller to provide more shade for my 15 month old when we went to the OBX in June. It works very well, is easy to attach, and is inexpensive. It is flimsy...but if your stroller already has a shade then add this one over the top of the other for more stability. I have used it several times since then and it has kept my little man almost completely out of the sun! Great product!

I just got this today! I bought this product because I wanted something that would provide more shade for my 2 year old. We go for 30 minute walks every day and I'd rather just block the sun than put sunscreen on her when we're only outside for a short period of time.
Even though my daughter wears her hat and sunglasses, this shade provides much more blockage from the sun and I feel better knowing she isn't going to burn up when we go for our walks this summer.
Pros:
-Price
-Easy Setup
-Flexible
-Covers my child from head to about her calves (unless she leans way forward, but even then the sun doesnt really get on her face.#
-Small side pockets #can hold your phone, keys, sippy cup, etc. just not anything super heavy.#
-The velcro straps are long enough that you can probably find a good place to secure the shade down. #Except wherever you put it cannot be thicker than 1-2 inches or the velcro wont link.#
Cons:
- Mild or strong wind can make shade double over and doesn't provide coverage unless child seat is laying down
-Velco straps are thin and may wear and tear easily over the next few years I plan on using this product #I will sew them rather than buy a replacement shade.#
-The very front part of the shade seemed a bit uneven #but I think I can bend it into a more round shape.#
-Doesnt fold up well with canopy folded, you would have to undo the bottom straps and even then it sticks out on the sides. I placed it in the seat #after folding it) and folded up my stroller and it wont get all bent up like that.
Overall I like this product and may end up buying a second one for my new double stroller. I recommend it for anyone who uses their stroller on a regular basis. The alternative is trying to get a small baby blanket to stay on the stroller or using a sheet and having it look tacky, both of which are too much of a hassle.

this definitely gets the job done...which is to keep the sun out.....its easy to install and easy to use ...it gathers back so you can close the stroller with no problem...the pockets on the sides are great to keep a ziploc of little snacks...HOWEVER-- on a windy day it is not great at all....even all the way down the wind will blow it right back up ....BUT i use it with a clear rain/weather guard over it ...like that the sun isn't in his face and he's protected from the wind/rain ....just clip down the rain guard and you're good .....we def love it ....=)

We put this on our Combi lightweight stroller when we went to Disney World & it worked great! The straps are easy to put on & taking it off & storing it is easy too. Great product!!

This sun shade is adjustable so it will probably fit any stroller. It does a perfect job adding more coverage from the sun, haven't got caught in the rain yet but I'm sure it would work, doesn't do well in the wind but then again it's not advertised to. Well worth the money!!
