I just took the SportRack on a long trip and it was very stable. Originally purchased a trunk mount bike rack and I hated it. I installed a hitch and used the hitch rack. It bounces a little bit but I expected it. I also can open my hatchback door with the rack mounted and not folded down.

I almost returned this rack because it did not have a lock on it like in the video and I am so glad I did not. I just love this rack. It is easy to use. Well made and does a great job of holding my bikes. The rack needs you to have a wrench to attach to your hitch because it screws on not just slides thru. Great feature. No one will spend the time to unscrew it for sure. Ialso love the way everything just folds up and holds together. I was worried about what to do since it does not have a built in lock but I just tie a lock around it and my bikes and its secure. No one will take it when you have the lock wraped around it . Very easy to do. Easy to use and easy to take a part. I highly recommend this rack. There are cheaper ones but this one is wort every penny. The bikes sit firmly in the tire holders and I had found I use this now to work on my bike. It holds it up and I can pump up my tires and work on my bike while in the rack. Just fantastic for the money.

The carrier mounts easily to my jeep hitch. The bikes are supported with the weight on the wheels. (the way bikes are designed) The bikes are easy to mount on the carrier. Nothing swings while driving. The carrier is exactly what I wanted at a price considerably below the bike shops.

Bought this on line, got it fast. at first thought it didn't look very heavy duty but after using it I do like it.
It does NOT have the lock like the video says but everything is right.
I would have given it 5 stars IF the bar that plugs into the hitch was BIGGER, as there is a little more "give " in it than I like and if the adapter was made of metal and not plastic.
The 1 1/4 to 2inch adapter is plastic which I don't think will hold up and it uses a "bolt" to hold it in which I didn't like at first but it does make it tight in the hitch. I plan on using this in a 1 1/4 hitch so I think it will be better.
It holds the bikes very well, they don't touch! and it is easy to put them on and take them off! which is the best feature!! I really like how they sit in the holders.

We recievd this very quickly and it did not require any assembly. It is very well built and easy to unfold for use. We did note that the hitch adapter had a crack in it that was not an operational issue but we contacted the support at SportRack and they replaced it without any question with in a few days. The rack holds our two Schwinn Dual Sport 28" bikes with no problem and is very stable on the road. We are retired and this is very easy to use and we store it in its folded form from a small chain hanging from the garage ceiling. great item - highly recommend!

Was considering a trunk rack but felt it would damage my vehicle and not be able to handle the weight of 2 cruisers bikes (90 lbs). Opted to have a hitch installed on my 2010 Honda CRV at Uhaul for $220. Rack was relatively easy to assemble and install on hitch. Have used rack twice now, once in brinking bikes home from store and going on one bike ride at state park. Seems to hold bikes (2) secure (mans and ladies) without additional "bar" for ladies bike. I opted for the "lock kit" and it too serves its purpose well. From my brief exeperience I would highly recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SlyPop Easy Assembly. Used with 80# of bikes. My hitch is class 1 rated so I wasn't expecting heavy duty. I do drive reasonably and try to avoid the sway/rock caused by bumps but I am now confident at 70 mph.

good solid product, fits well and stays sturdy. but the velcro straps are very cheep and they tear off very easily, one broke in half the first time i used it. I hope Sport Rack would replace it. so i'll call them.
