Rated 5 out of 5 by I LOVE IT This lounger is perfect. It only took about 30 minutes to put together. The instructions were right on the money with no problems. We bought this to put on an outside patio and it is plenty big enough for my husband and I as well as our 8 yr old son. We also love that it does recline at both top and bottom like those other more expensive loungers. Also as a bonus it did come with a fitted cover that the product does not show. This is a must-have for anyone who loves to lounge!! 02/09/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best lounger I purchased this lounger 5 years ago and we absolutely love it. My 3 and 5 year old are able to adjust it to their desires easily. We have ours on an upper deck outside directly in the sun and have never covered it. It has endured many storms, high winds, a major softball sized hailstorm last year, and several snowstorms. It is just now showing some signs of wear from the elements, but none that compromises it's integrity. I'm ready for new cushions...this one's a keeper! I strongly recommend this lounger to anyone who has hot summers, cold winters, and high winds! It's not so heavy that you can't move it, but is heavy enough that it won't take-off from our second story deck and crash into the neighbor's house. :) 04/07/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by So nice This is a great lounger. I love the way you can position each side of it. Very comfortable, comes with a drawstring bag to cover it for the rain. Love it. 03/11/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Orbit Lounger I saw one at my sisters house and wanted it for our pool area. they are great and you can sleep at night outside on them. I ordered mine and had it shipped to the store for pickup to save shipping charges. the two guys who put it in my car for me were great. so i was happy with my purchase and the customer service. 03/03/2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by great lounger But you can not find replacment cushion's~~ Someone Please Help 02/25/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great addition to my new deck Although the cushion color was not as it appeared in the picture, it worked out very well. It's actually a darker brown which will not track as much dirt as time goes on. The cover that comes with it is fantastic to protect the cushions from the elements. Saves from having to velcro it on and then velcro it off each time you would otherwise need to store it. My husband put it together in no time. Only downside, wished it had an option for an umbrella. We love it and I found it priced very economical to all the research I did on comparisons. 06/23/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value!! I've had this lounger for at least 4 - 5 years now. Cushions are still like new, despite getting wet a few times (and I mean soaked!). I can't imagine what one would have to do to rip up this material - it's pretty tough stuff. I use an old waterbed liner to cover it most of the time, and of course put it up for winter (hint, hint people). The cushions are NOT thin as someone else suggested - you would have to weigh a LOT to feel the bars underneath. The only thing I wish Walmart offered is some terrycloth covers for sunbathing - thinking about making my own in bright colors. This is a great buy and one you won't regret. 05/15/2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not in it for the long haul We bought this lounger less than three years ago. Although I've tried to be careful with the cushion, it has completely disintegrated. The accompanying cover doesn't fit well from the start, and blew off every time I put it on. I wanted to purchase a replacement cushion, but doing that costs more than replacing the entire lounger! It hasn't been a complete waste of money, but if you're looking for outdoor furniture that will last, look elsewhere. 04/04/2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by After one summer, the fabric is disintegrating I loved this lounger when I first got it. But this is a lesson in not writing a review until you've owned something at least one year. After one summer, and despite bringing the cushions inside during rain and over winter, the cushion fabric is already disintegrating. Short of having custom made cushion covers, what can you do? 05/29/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Still lovin it after all these years I bought this lounger back when Walmart first carried it, about 5 or 6 years ago, as a Mother's Day present to myself. It had a taupe patterned fabric back then. I was looking for patio seating that would allow me to recline and relax with my two dachshunds. I knew a typical lounge chair wouldn't be big enough for us all to sit together. When I saw this one, I knew I had to have it. I am still loving it after all these years. The assembly instructions were easy to understand. I assembled it myself. The cover was NOT good. It was flimsy and not weatherproof. So I just got an outdoor table and chair cover and cut it down to size. Whatever kind of cover you get or make, it needs to be weatherproof and you will need to secure it somehow as anything less will just eventually blow off. I clamp mine down with little clamps from the hardware store. I have left the lounger outside on my patio every winter, just keeping it covered and the cushions still look like new. I highly recommend this. Last year, I made a slipcover for it from beach towels...I had problems with bird droppings. This way I can just throw the slipcover in the washer and not have to keep scrubbing the lounger cushions. I recommend beach towels because they don't cost alot like the outdoor fabrics and they don't fade. The slipcover is tight enough where it won't blow off either. The only reason I didn't give the lounger 5 stars was that the adjustable pushpins that hold the seat up have rusted and become hard to press. I did a little sanding and oiling and they are fine now. Also, like other reviewers, I agree that the cushions are not thick enough and you can feel the supports a little...but not enough to ruin the total feel or want to make me return it. The pillows that came with the lounger were very hard. I thought about opening them up and removing some of the stuffing but I found I didn't really need them. For the money, you can't beat this lounger. But, if you really want to make your investment last more than a year or two, you HAVE to take care of it just like any other outdoor furniture. Keep it covered in bad weather and the pins oiled and it will last you for years like mine has done. Buy it. You'll LOVE it. After seeing it, now my sister wants one. 05/14/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by What I expected for the price... This is by far a good deal for the price. Mind you, it is VERY cheap compared to other like items on line. It was easy to put together and looks great. The chair is a little uncomfortable because you tend to lean to the outside of the chair whether one person is sitting on it or two. If you both sit mostly towards the middle, it is fine. I like the way that both sides can be set up or go flat. The color is kind of a goldish brown and the pillows are bright and cheery. It's easy to move it around and easy to adjust. 04/18/2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Know Before You Buy You should know that the lounger is pretty to look at, but not so nice to sit on. The cushion is thin, and you can feel the bars beneath you. Others have suggested lining unit with carpet padding. You should know that the material is not waterproof, nor is the cover that is provided. The cover is to help prevent fading only. Upholsterers gave us bids of $180 to $200 labor to mfg. one cover plus add'l. cost of fabric. Th cushion fabric itself is thin and should be stored indoors over winter. Asked upholsterer what it would cost to re-cover the cushions with sunbrella like fabric. He said he wouldn't take on the job as he couldn't predict the labor involved as the sunbrella is difficult to work with and the cushions themselves are intricately made. The metal framework itself is well made and has withstood the elements with no sign of aging this year. You should know that the lounger is pretty to look at, has lots of zing. How practical it will be in the long run, you have to decide. 04/13/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 Great Family Purchase I bought this lounged to replace an old hammock and got so much more. My husband and I, along with our twin toddlers can all relax on the lounged together. It is stable enough for the toddlers to climb up, down and all over! We love it! Easy to put together if you follow the simple instructions. 05/14/2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I purchased this lounger last summer - Loved It ! We had trouble keeping it covered as the cover did not fit well and came off continously. About late April of this year - when uncovering the pool and getting the backyard ready for summer - sat down on the lounger to take a break and just about everywhere you touched the fabric, it ripped - It looks horrible and i can not find replacement cushions anywhere. Very Very Disappointed. 06/16/2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Wait until you have to get cushion replacements, it is not possible, fabric will only withstand so much rain and sun, highly advise if new scotch guard it and remove from weather when not in use and get a better cover 05/04/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 LOVE THIS LOUNGER Love this Lounger...easy to assemble, comfortable, and an attractive addition to my patio. Though comfortable I sometimes want to recline a little further or up higher but only has the two positions--completely flat or slightly reclined. It comes with a cover however the cover is not very water proof. Cushions still gets wet when it rains and took a day to dry. Over all, my boyfriend and I have been enjoying sharing the lounger, relaxing on a starry night with a glass of wine or enjoying the fresh breezes of morning with a cup of java. 04/30/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Replacement cushions!! I bought this lounger two years ago. The cushion on it has tore all to pieces and I can't get a replacement anywhere. We really enjoyed it. It was perfect for sitting by the pool but if you can't find cushions to replace it....it's as good as trash. You should keep this in mind when you buy it. It's a lot of money for 2 years. If you really want it I would put up your cushion every year! 04/29/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Lounger I love this lounger was very easy to put together. The only draw back is that the cover it comes with is only a dust cover and not waterproof. I bought some waterproof spray for a nylon tent and fixed that issue 05/19/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Looks like I spent $1000 on it! I have designer tastes, and haven't bought anything at Walmart before - EVER. But this is fabulous. Amazing price (including delivery fee!) and it is a beautiful piece that comes with extras (cover and pillows and cushions. Love it! It took my husband an hour or so to put it together. 07/08/2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor Value Initially nice lounger but the cushions ripped in less than a year. The squirrels then came and destroyed them completely. Ordered replacement cushions from the manufacturer (the only place you can find the replacements) in February. Told to expect them in April. Now being told we might get them in June. The lounger is unusable without the cushions so we will have to replace this unit in less than 1 year. 04/18/2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Color Misleading, but a good value BEWARE: The color is more of a goldenrod vs the khaki/ivory that the pictures show. We were disappointed about this, but decided to keep it (huge box to return to the store). We use it as a poolside lounger, and also as a spare bed when we have numerous guests. Comes with a flimsy thin dust cover, but I recommend buying a waterproof HD cover if you plan to keep it outdoors. 02/10/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this lounger, this is my second one, only because you cannot buy a replacement cushion, that is something the company should do, the frame lasts forever but the cushion does need to be replaced after some years. 06/02/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by This Lounger is the BOMB! The quality and construction of this lounger is excellent. It has a lot of bolts to put into tight places (I highly recommend a ratcheting holder for the alan wrench they include with the little nut tightener.) It took me about 1.5 hours to assemble it but I was doing it myself and that was time wasted before I got the wrench holder out of the tool box. I also had limited working space, my balcony used too look huge and under furnished, not so now! The fabric on mine is more of a rich golden flax color, lovely! These are the pillows but they look faded in the photo as does the lounge cushion color. And OMG... so very comfortable; the first thing I did was lay down on it and get sunburned. I can't wait to sleep outside on my 11th floor balcony one evening soon. I'm glad I got it with plenty of summer and lovely fall weather left. 07/24/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by I bought this Lounger a couple years ago. Frame has held up well. The cushion cover material lasted about one summer before it started to tear. Now I did not bring it in out of the rain so it was not always covered. The actual cushions held up just fine. I had the cushions covered this year. Between the material and labor that cost more than the original set! But it looks even better ( I wasn't crazy about the neutral color) and now it is protected 24/7 under a cabana. 07/05/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall good unit Easy Assembly...some of the velcro tiedowns seemed a little off position, but over all works well. Nice platform, decent support and comfort. The tip ups work well. Perfect size for my 10x10 Pergola, with room for side tables. The 2 pillows add some nice cotrast and color. Very pleased with this unit so far. 06/13/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by amazing this is great quality for the money, very comfortable for 2, sturdy, really a great buy 05/10/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love my new lounger Took about 20 minutes to put together, cushion is darker than actual picture but I like it better. For $199 you can't beat it. 07/02/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great price and looks great We just fell in love with this and had to buy it. My husband had it set up in about 40 minutes but he's good at that kind of stuff. Its more comfortable then I thought it would be. We just ordered the lounger and not the table and umbrella because we already had a umbrella. The test will be how it holds up outside but we will keep the cover it came with and a tarp over that while it's not being used. 06/21/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by I have been looking for a lounger of this type for almost a year, the value and quality of this product is amazing. I like that the cushion was a little darker than the pic online. My boyfriend is 6'5 and I am 5'10 and we both fit on this very comfortably. It was fairly easy to put together, it's sturdy and very comfortable. I have recommended this to my friends and family. 02/28/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Love the product... just wish the cushions were a little thicker. They are a little thinner than regular patio chairs. Love the color... it is a little darker than it looks in the pictures. 07/12/2011
