Rated 2 out of 5 by Greguso Not happy, will return, not adjustable nosepiece,
The pins not go deep enough! I adjusted nosepiece to maximum, but in not help! Every nail go on it own different deep! Have to use the nailer without orange safe plastic on the noce... but this way it make small damage to the molding parts...
I will exchange this nailer first, and if result will be the same I will put big NOT TO BUY on Hitachi nailers!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bill43 This pin nailer is not performing up to expectations.
I bought this Hitachi pin nailer to use in my picture frame hobby. I could not get it to sink one inch pins flush let alone countersunk, in a red oak frame. I also have a 16 gauge Hitachi nailer that will sink nails consistantly in oak. It is an outstanding nailer.

I bought a cheaper 'brand X' model, I brought it back to the box store a day later after clearing jam after jam. The Hitachi pin I bought never jammed once after using it most of the day. I highly recommend this pinner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by aauten great nail gun
great nail gun. I have only used it on 2 jobs but it has worked perfectly so far. Small light weight and feels good in your hand. shoots the nails to the right depth right out of the box. Nice case as well.

I love the small pin nailer. Use it for small cabinet moulding and other small projects. leaves a small hole that is easily filled with putty.

This nailer has a good feel and the size and weight is just right for me. The pins have more holding power than I expected. I plan on using it for more applications than I ever planned on.

At this point I have put a couple of hundred pins through this gun and have had no problems at all. I am currently making molding and after painting, the pin holes just disappear. I made one assembly mistake and had to take the pieces apart. I was surprised at how good the pins hold. I am going to get a lot of use from this tool.
Rated 5 out of 5 by BayouRouge Better uses than expected
This pin nailer follows Hitachi's known high quality standards. The nailer can and will be used on more applications than I had expected. The holding power was surprisingly strong.

Used the gun for the first time to install quarter round moulding during a floor install. The one inch pins shot easily through the molding and into the ash flooring. The small countersunk pin hole needed no filler. The paint covered up the pin holes.

I have always trusted the quality and service of Hitachi tools. My wife likes using our Hitachi tools as well!

I used this product for putting in stair case railing. Was very happy with its performance. Had no hang ups or stuck nails in the chamber. It is very lit and easy to use.

Great for projects that require an ultra fine finish.
Rated 5 out of 5 by gmcromp Great finish nailer at a great price
I have been using the pin nailer on several projects and find it very valuable. You cannot see the pins if you put them in correctly. This is also handy for holding items in place as an extra set of hands, the beauty is no mark is left if you remove them. The pin nailer is well built and comfortable to use. I have not had any problems with jams or partial driving of the pin. Low air consumption is a plus as well. I have been using the pin nailer on several projects and find it very valuable. Rated 2 out of 5 by Geno48 Pinner is not what Hitachi claims
Returned my first pin nailer because the so called countersin k adjustable nosepiece did not work . the second pinner is no different. I cannot countersink the pins even a miniscule amount. Also the owners manual appears to have the instructions for adjustment backwards. Called customer service and they were useless. I don't think they even knew that hitachi made a pin nailer. I ended up grinding the tip of the nailer and now at least the pins are mostly flush with the surface of the wood with hardwood. With softwood the pinner leaves an obtrusive dent where the pins are driven. The price of the pinner was decent but not what I expected. Does not compare to the quality and performance of my other Hitachi tools.

I purchased this pin nailer as an additional nailer (I have another Hitachi nialer). This pin nailer was just what I needed to install delicate trim on my bath cabinets.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Joey Hard to handle trigger but otherwise great
I have used this product alot and I find it great except getting used to the trigger safety sequence. I have put four pin nails in my left hand trying to get the tool in my right hand so I could position it propery. But after a few of these in my hand I am hoping your company makes this tool easier to handle.
