Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed I have used the Fusion for years and really like it. When it came time to buy more cartridges, I succumbed to the hype and bought a Proglide. I should have saved my money for buying replacement cartridges for the Fusion. I saw very little--if any--difference between between the two for normal shaving. The trimmer on the Fusion is better than the Proglide. All the talk about thinner blades and an oiled comfort strip for a more comfortable shave? Bunk! The handles appear to be interchangeable, so the only difference is the cartridge. This is where Gilette has taken a page from the printer manufacturers who sell the machines at a rock bottom price then charge through the nose for ink. Replacement cartridges for both are expensive, with the Proglide cartridges running a few bucks more than the Fusion. The cartridge expense was somewhat mitigated on the Fusion because a cartridge could last up to a month. (If you disregard the commercial and keep using the cartridge until it's uncomfortable, not changing when the blue strip turns white.) Maybe I had a bad cartridge, but the Proglide had to be changed at 10 days. Do the thinner blades dull more quickly? I don't know. Conclusion: After this last Proglide Cartridge needs replacing--you get two with the razor--I'm going back to the old Fusion. It gives a great shave, has a better trimmer, and replacement cartridges are more inexpensive. 01/07/2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product This is a very good and good-looking razor. My husband had used this brand for a while and specifically requested this model (USO) with the American flag logo. He likes it very much. 12/27/2010
