We own this security camera, only ours has two cameras (you can add a total of 4 cameras).
It is wireless in the sense that the camera and main unit interact wireless, but you still will need electricity to operate the cameras. You can use an outdoor outlet (anyone stealing the camera would be caught on tape on your inside unit), or you can do what we did and drill a small hole in the garage and run it inside to an exisiting plug.
The vision on these is pretty good, you can see a very far distance, recording is good both day and night. It is motion activated or you can record all day if you want, but keep in mind if you choose all day recording, you can only record from ONE camera at a time. Same with motion detection, if one camera is recording, the other can not until the first is finished. You can choose to record for 5, 15 or 30 seconds..if more motion is detected once those times are up, it starts recording again.
Set up couldnt be easier, it simply plugs into your tv using a yellow, white and red plug, just match your colors. The recording is done on a sd card that is included and fits into the main unit. Very nice entry level set that just about anybody could install themselves with no trouble at all.

It looks like a toy that could be easily broken. Don't waste your time ordering this.

Listing states 450 foot range, its no where near that, more like 75 feet. Says its for outdoor use, but the user manual states, its not waterproof and not for outdoors. Picture is not clear on monitor, and is highly pixelated. Overall, not bad, but will return for a better unit. It is not the item that I thought I was purchasing, sorry.....

s'all right for what it is. should be 12 volt dc input to facilitate remote battery operation, but i had to build a low drain switching power supply to do that for me. works ok as long as you don't expect much from it.
