I saw the movie in theaters. Have followed the series since the beginning. SATC2 was not as good as the first but still for a fan, a must have. If the apartment from the first had continued into the second it would have made the whole movie...funny, huh!?!
Rated 1 out of 5 by CKCSWHFFAN NOT good at all & cheap DVD package
I knew I was NOT going to like this film & I was right.
Fan of the show, although I did not get into until season 3.
The first film was OK. BUT a lot of story mistakes but you could kind of enjoy it
When I heard about the storyline for this 2cd film it did NOT sound good..
All four of the woman's lives were NOT happy. NONE of them. They had to make up ways to get all the important supporting characters in just to make fans happy.
Who bought the Stanford & Anthony wedding? Nope. Said in the movie they did NOT like each other in the series, you can buy them becoming friends because they were friends with the girls. Then the over the top wedding?
Made up reasons to bring Smith (Jerry) and Adian back. Bringing in 15 minutes about up Cyrus. NO BUSINESS IN THE FILM.
Carrie & John storyline. Wrong to have a TV in the bed room, this was the best they could do?
The reason Samantha got the free trip? She was NOT sleeping with any of the men to get it so another do NOT buy the story line. They did NOT like Los Angeles but loved the Middle East until the Samantha storyline.
Then they came up with seen a million times so called plot twists before they got out of the Middle East.
The much talked about "flashback". Not worth the VERY BRIEF camera time.
Film too long.
The storyline with Charlotte's nanny. WHO OTHER THAN TO GET A STORY IDEA WOULD LET THEIR NANNY DRESS LIKE THAT ON THE JOB? No one. Then the end of the movie lame get out of that storyline.
Miranda quitting then just without back up as to what happened she had a new job at the end of the film.
A huge misstep. They over hyped the film then it disappointed at the box office. Of course, looked at what you over hyped.
2 lame extras and then……
I HATE THESE THINGS. The DVD makers used one of these CHEAP, INTENTIONAL HOLES PLASTIC CASES. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP BUT THEY DO NOT DROP THE PRICE OF THE DVD. So, the DVD can be damaged for repurchase BUT NO ONE WILL WANT TO REPURCHASE THIS.
No chapter search list.
A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ROOEY20 GREAT movie!!!!
This movie is very funny and very different from the 1st movie and the seasons. The characters have wilder personalities and in a comical way. My father even watched it and enjoyed it! And that says something!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hardworkingman64 Great Movie
Bought this for my wife for Christmas, who is a big fan of the TV series. She was very excited and loves the movie.
Rated 4 out of 5 by CCandD The movie was great. I love S#x and the City series. I purcased it through a pre-order and was not happy with my choice of ordering before it came to the store. I could have received it faster going to the store and paid a little less when it came out the first week rather than ordering it before-hand.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lucky4uGuy Fun Movie
This is a light and fun movie from beginning to end. No heavy drama of a wedding just lots of fun, scenery, fashion and yes s-x and the city.
Rated 5 out of 5 by PeytonCOGirl S_x & the City Movie 2

Excellent, awesome, fabulous
Rated 3 out of 5 by SMOGREN GREATLY DISAPPOINTED
I counted the months, weeks and days for this release only to be greatly disappointed. This movie cannot compare to the first. The plot was okay but very confined to Samantha's menopausal issues. There was little excitement compared to the first movie, the music was not as good and Aiden's part lacked luster. Sorry ladies!
