Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful furniture We bought the full furniture set for our daughters first baby, the 4 in 1 crib, mattress, changing table & dresser. They are all beautiful pieces. I am so pleased with how they look. The only complaint or downfall @ all is with the dresser. It had sturdy cardboard bottoms in the drawers. I feel like they won't last real long if you "overstuff" the drawers, but I think the key is not to overstuff. All in all, they are perfect for the value. 09/01/2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Buy This crib is beautiful and sturdy. It also fits so well in the baby’s room. I love this crib, I bought this crib for my first grandchild. So I researched baby cribs and beds for the past 2 months. I read all types of reviews and consumer reports and I finally settled on the DaVinci brand because it is rated #1 for safety and durability. I purchased this crib from Walmart because they had the best price. I had it shipped to the store for pick up and the packaging was in tact and none of the pieces had any damage, all the pieces were perfect. The instructions were simple and it was easy to put together, it took me about an hour to put it together. However you will have to be very careful with the pieces because the wood is very soft and it will scratch easily. I was aware of this because of the reviews that I read. I did good….I only got 2 scratches and 1 nick on it but not enough to notice. I’m very please with this crib. Although I have not used it yet, the baby is not due until next month. 03/28/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by crib I was very happy with the crib I purchased it was easy to put together and it was very sturdy. The color was rich and there were no scratches or dents when I took it out of the package. 03/01/2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Seems ok for the price, color is disappointing We purchased this crib in the coffee color. I thought it would be more of a dark brown, however it is really a dark cherry color. From the picture I knew it would be a little lighter and probably have some reddish tint compared to the espresso cribs, but I was surprised by how much. I'm glad I hadn't purchased any other furniture yet, but I'm worried it will be hard to match. It's not quite as sturdy as I was expecting...I already own a Million Dollar Baby crib (same company as DaVinci) that cost about $300, is very sturdy and I've been very pleased with. This one isn't as nice, but overall it seems ok for the price. I love that this company includes the toddler rail and you don't have to spend an additional $50-100 for that piece. The front rail seems very low, however I compared the height to my other crib and it's not any lower, just looks that way from the design. Overall I think this is a decent buy but be aware of the color--if you truly want a dark brown I would purchase one of the Baby Mod or DaVinci espresso cribs. Also, if you want a crib that will definitely last for more than one child I'd suggest spending just a little bit more to get something a little higher quality if you can. 03/03/2013
