I sell a lot on ebay so I needed a studio anr with 2 of these lights I get excellent pictures. But the heat this light puts out is extreme. I just wonder how many AMPS it uses. I can't find a word on that. But if you need lots of light this is the one.

I was seduced by the low price on this 500W work light and had to give it a try. It comes with a spare bulb, which is good, because you'll need it. Unfortunately, the first bulb lasted a grand total of about 3 minutes. (And yes, the bulb was properly seated on both ends, and yes, no skin oils contaminated the bulb). The 'spare' bulb has lasted a good couple of hours, but now the unit simply won't turn on. Get what you pay for I guess.

Unfortunately I did not keep the box for this item. If I kept every box for every item I bought at Walmart, I would need a warehouse. This item burned totally out on its second use. Tried replacement bulbs but that is not the problem. The whole unit burnt out the second time I used it and it is still under warrenty, but of course cannot return it as I did not keep the box. Absolute junk. Save your money.

I bout 2 of these lights. The light bulbs go out very fast the first one went out right after i unplug it. Put the replacement bulb in it went out after 5 mins.The other light was the same thing. After being a electrican i check the product over very good and found the seling surfes on the glass was no good. The lights are no good.

Unfortunately, the 2 Bayco 500 watt Halogen work lights I ordered do not work ! I am not new to assembling , troubleshooting, and using all types of Hallogen work lights.
One has missing parts ( the stand handle and connection parts ) After exhausting and repeated , but unsucessful attempts on both of the lights in trying to seat the ends of the halogen bulbs, neither has been lighted ! Yes, I know that using protective gloves ( so as not to have skin oils contact the bulbs) need to be worn, which I did
. Customer service was more interested in having me try to assemble the handle for the stand , withOUT the necessary parts !
The ends of the bulbs seem to be "gritty" and have poor quality materials , as does the interior of the lamp .
I am very disappointed , as I needed them to light up 2 areas of my garage , where I am painting storage cabinets.

good unit..comes with 2 bulbs....heat shade and reflector.....3 wire pig tail with on/off switch....would recommend....this product for a re-buy....hint ...put the bulb with the airwick on the bulb outward//don't burn unit upside down..

THIS LIGHT BURNS UP MORE BULBS THAT YOU COULD IMAGINE!!
LIGHTING IS FANTASTIC FOR ABOUT 15 TO 30 MINUTES, MAX, THEN BULB POPS.
I TRIED DIFFERENT BRAND BULBS TO RULE OUT THAT PROBLEM.
GO WITH A L.E.D. STYLE. IT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY.

Great bright light. First bulb lasted about 3-4 hours. Second the same. Aside from the bulbs burning out so quickly the light is a great deal.
