Rated 5 out of 5 by Snowy777 Great Sneaker for the Price
My husband is an over the road truck driver, and needs comfortable shoes to drive in and be able to change them fast when needed. These sneakers have lasted him over a year... and he wears them daily.... I always keep an extra pair on hand just in case something happens and they get wet from the weather or they just wear out... for the price you can't beat it.... I hope Walmart never stops selling these sneakers!!!
Rated 4 out of 5 by axw243 a good buy
comfortable and lightweight, last 6 months to a year and a good price.
Rated 5 out of 5 by DrOCHalsey Just right for sporty, casual, getting-around.
Being a Runner for the past 35 years, I am WELL versed on shoes that last for 2000+ miles AND that hold-up to widely adverse conditions and abuse AND that fit and support JUST RIGHT in all of the areas that an individual runner would need:
Performance and LONG-lasting with COMFORT and style.
THIS shoe is NOT one of those $50 - $250 shoes however!!
THIS is a shoe (that LOOKS like a running shoe knock-off) that is just:
A comfortable, sporty-type of casual, getting-around, shoe.
A shoe that doesn't need to perform or last a heckuva longtime in adverse conditions; but, a nicely-styled, COMFORTABLE shoe, for one to wear around the house OR, doing chores OR, to your son's/daughter's soccer match OR, for a stroll through the shopping-mall/grocery store AND that last more than long enough.
And, at the LOW $10 - $15 range; you still get more than you paid for.
If your a serious runner; you're going to spend over $200/year on shoes and shoe-accessories.
For everyone else (and for all other sporty-type needs) there's:
The SSS (The SILVER-SERIES STARTER.)
Rated 5 out of 5 by Normthedragon Velcro sneakers
These are a very comfortable pair of shoes and were reasonably priced. They are a bit more stylish than the others I've seen advertised elsewhere at a higher price. They solved my problem of getting winded every time I bent down to tie my shoes, and eliminated the pain I feel in my hands, due to Arthritis, when trying to tie laces. Unfortunately, they were not offered in half sizes, so I had to go up to the next whole size which makes them a little big but still okay.
Rated 1 out of 5 by oneofthemanydisgruntled They fall apart after a month of gentle use
I have been buying these shoes for years and have noticed an alarming trend. Several years ago they were great shoes for the money. Then, they were made by a different company. Now these shoes fall apart after a month. The vinyl coating cracks and peels away from the cloth on the top and the soles crack and break, both at the flex areas at the ball of the foot. This never used to happen, my current pair lasted less than a month and I was only walking in them.
The soles pull away from the cushioning at the heels easier than it used to. And the cushioning itself seems to have differences in resilience in the soles of the individual shoes. I find myself sometimes walking on the sides on the heel area. Sometimes to the inside and sometimes to the outside, depending on the shoe.
I gave them one star only because this review would not let me give them zero stars.
Rated 5 out of 5 by LostStar1969 Good but all W's
This is a nice light inexpensive shoe just to go around in but don't think it is for any sort of athletics. My only complaint is the WalMart I got mine from had nothing but wide shoes regardless of the size..8W..9W..10W..etc. I had to have a new pair of shoes by the next morning but didn't really want a W but had no choice at that time.
Rated 2 out of 5 by cozylife These sneakers are nice in style and easy to walk with but they did not last long ----litteraly less than 5 monts.---they started opening up in the front on the sides from the foot movement i guess ( cheap material) then i end up having a hole in the middle top of my front foot, which i don't know how it happened! it was embarassing i was on Metro and looked at my foot and noticed it---.I guess for their price it's fair , you should invest more money and get good quality.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Shopping13901 Bad Shoes
I had these shoes for little over a week and they already started falling apart. The Velcro straps have started to fray and wear away at the side of the shoes where they overlap. Plus one of the shoes has already formed a hole in the top of the sole. These shoes are terrible. Do not buy them if you want them to last more than a week.

A great product sold at a low price. Plain and simple,
that's Value at it's BEST. Thanks Walmart.
Rated 1 out of 5 by pipercub55 Poor sole
All shoes with these types of layered foam soles (at least the cheap ones) always start to separate between the hard bottom layer and the soft foam layer at the heel within a few weeks.
I bought three pairs of these and EVERY one has started to separate within a month. I now have several useless shoes that have 1 - 2 inch sole separation.
Walmart used to carry a velcro strap shoe with a molded heel sole that did not have this problem. (Walmart - please bring those back!)
DON'T buy these!!
Rated 5 out of 5 by BrokenArrowGuy Hard to find shoes
these Velcro closure shoes are hard to find. I have only found them in starter brand shoes, and then only mail order. I haven't seen them in the store in a long time.
Rated 5 out of 5 by SLUMBERING great price
I wear a size 13 wide; very hard to find; I can't believe the price;
this suits this old timer just fine.
Rated 4 out of 5 by servinjesus1 Great shoes for the price
I wish that I could get them in half sizes. I bought the white, just because they were out of black & white.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sudzly good price

Rated 5 out of 5 by LadyBear5957 cheap, comfortable sneakers
Nice insole, good walking shoe. Great value
Rated 3 out of 5 by ONLINEANDLEATHEL UNHAPPY WITH FIT. WISH YOU CARRIED HALF SIZES
Rated 3 out of 5 by MrDufus All right for the price, but not very good.
The shoes are already starting to come apart. So far the minor rips are only cosmetic. I bought these for walking in the rain. They will serve that purpose nicely. When the rain tears them apart I'm only out $14.05 and I still have my good shoes.
Rated 2 out of 5 by elderslie Use as House slippers
Have owned them almost three months. Soles started to separate at the heel (I glued them). Now at the two month plus point the fabric on top of the toe is cracking where the shoes flex as you walk. These were very inexpensive shoes but as a slipper you might expect longer wear before they self destruct. I would call them short term foot covers & throw-aways.
Rated 3 out of 5 by CenVillager Soles coming unglued
I use these as house slippers. Very comfortable. Lots of padding.
But now after several months of use the soles are becoming unglued, starting at the heel. Right now it is only about 1 1/2 inches, but as it continues the shoe will become less useful and safe to wear.
I will buy another pair as soon as they become available. They are very good while they last.
I give them a three rating because they really should last longer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by MarcyK Another great STARTER product!
These shoes fit well if you are looking for a wide width and are inexpensive too. I bought these just to use on my days off work and ended up with two pairs in different colors. I am very happy with them and will buy again.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Markfromflorida Good buy for the price.
For $12 is a very good sport shoe. It puts other sneakers at twice the price to shame.
Rated 5 out of 5 by jkp321 Great value
This is a an outstanding value for $12. My only complaint is that my size is only sporadically available online.
Rated 5 out of 5 by bigeayter If you have foot problem like me, diabetic, they are more easy geting on and off with the velcro and having brace, go for it and find outjust as good as the the ones medicare provides at a high cost..............

I bought a pair for emergency hiking footwear two years ago and couldn't get any at the stores. Found them online and bought two pair... the Velcro straps are easy on my bunions.
Rated 4 out of 5 by justuandi The sneakers r comfortable, easy 2 put on and the velcro " tie " is great.
Rated 4 out of 5 by heada good buy

Rated 4 out of 5 by clowy12 for the price/ excellent
Rated 3 out of 5 by jaringtn It meets a need!
I was looking for a shoe that I could get on and off quickly as i am slightly disabled. I also have a problem with my feet swelling so my feet are different sizes most of the time. Well I bought these as a quick fix. I bought the shoes exactly the size of my bad foot and expected the right shoe to be a bit large. I received the shoes and put them on. Not great looking but passable and they were a bit stylish. At first the shoes were very comfortable but after 3 days I noticed that although the shoe was a wide width the sole must have been a regular width. I'm not the lightest person but these shoes just don't feel right. I can feel the narrow sole now every time I walk. It doesn't hurt and the shoes are holding up after 3 weeks of wear but they feel very odd on my feet. I will think before I buy another pair of these but they are great knock around shoes minus the weird sole feeling.
