Rated 3 out of 5 by great for 8 months I think this is a good coffee maker, but it wont last forever. I got this for 50 bucks at another store so the walmart price is a steel. I've had it for 8 months and brew 2 full pots a day 5 days a week and 5-10 full pots on saturday and sunday. The coffee brews pretty quickly, and you can set it to me regular or strong. There is a 2hr shut off which is convienant. The coffee maker is also programable so that i can have my coffe ready for me befrore i even step out of bed which is great because who wants to start making coffee at 4 in the morning? It was good while it lasted but all of a sudden wouldnt brew one morning. I called their warrenty line and they are sending me one free of charge. the customer service was amazing.It should only take 6-8 days. 12/14/2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice coffee maker There is good and bad with this product. I purchased this coffee maker 8 months ago and really loved it. It is easy to use and clean. It makes good coffee quickly. The bad news is that on Monday I went to brew a pot of coffee - when I came back to the kitchen to get my first cup of coffee of the day - I found that only half the water brewed into the pot - the other half of the water had leaked out from the bottom of the unit and was all over my counter and dripping down onto my floor. I was really upset. The good news is that today I called Mr. Coffee and expressed my disappointment. They took down some info from the electric plug on the unit and told me that they would be sending me a replacement unit. So even tho I had a bad experience with this unit it is being replaced and I think that speaks well of a company who is willing to stand behind their products. So I say go ahead and buy this coffeemaker if you like really good coffee. 08/19/2010

Rated 5 out of 5 by A good coffee maker In the past I stayed away from Mr. Coffee because of a somewhat poor reputation, compared to the price. I am a value shopper who will spend the money when the value is there, so when I went looking for a new coffee maker I first set my budget, then went looking. I looked at all sorts of machines with a plithera of options and kept coming across the the Mr. Coffee. It had the features I wanted and looked good too. My final stop was a consumer web site and found this machine was a top pick. that pretty much clinched it, except that I found Wal-Mart had the best price of anyone. 10/18/2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mr. Coffee I have had this unit for 6 years and it finally passed on to coffee pot heaven. I am rushing out to get a new one, the same model. It made a great cup of coffee every day. I am the only coffee drinker in the house but when we have guests I get compliments on the coffee. Right now, I am using a 4 cup mr coffee I take with me when I travel. This unit met all my expectations. 05/17/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best i've ever had! We love this coffee maker. the features make life easier - especially the morning rush to get to work. It brews in a fairly short time and has a 12 cup capacity allowing us to have enough to take a travel cup with us as well. Many of our guests have commented on how great it looks. i'll have to keep my eyes on it - my daughter wants to take it home with her!! 01/26/2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by THE WRITING COMES OFF~ I love this coffee maker we use it all the time, but when it comes to cleaning the outside i realized the wording wipes right off : ( it did look very nice but with parts of the wording missing it looks kind stupid now. An if you continue to clean it i hope u memorized what button is what because the words will be gone. 05/09/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Better than expected I have used Mr. Coffee for many years. It has always been my first choice in coffee makers. I have lived with the fact that there is spillage when pouring into my coffee cup/thermos. With this model they have, finally, modified the lip and it is pouring great without spillage. I do wish that we could hit a button that would keep it on for more than two hours, as I drink coffee all day and have to constantly turn off/on when I pour my coffee. But that is my personal problem. This is a GREAT coffee maker. 05/25/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by We got over 3 years use out of it !! A good value If anyone thinks thats small then do the math. Thats over 1095 pots plus multiple pots on holidays and entertaining, well over 1100 total. 1100 cycles divided by 35 dollars and thats 3.2 cents for each time we ran it. I dont know about you, but I cost more than 3 cents for any job I do. We are buying the exact same one, thank you. :-J 03/08/2011

Rated 1 out of 5 worst coffee maker ever I purchased this coffee maker after my old one broke. This is the worst coffee maker ever. The coffee is never hot. When you pour the coffee it goes everywhere. It leaks down the side while brewing. while brewing the coffee spills into the lid on top and when you get ready to pour the coffee, you have to make sure you empty out the lid so it doesn't spill everywhere. I do not recommend this coffee maker at all. 11/10/2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Yearly buy I absolutely loved this coffee maker. It made the coffee realtively quickly. The taste was great. Coffe nice and hot.Cleaning indicator. All this was great if you want to rebuy one every 1 1/2 years. I only would make 1/2 pot about 4 days a week if that. Went to make coffe as usual and all it would do was beep like the pot was done. 12/06/2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Makes great coffee, looks great and inexpensive! I bought this coffee maker because it was very sleek and contemporary. We had an older Mr. Coffee that was white and when we remodeled our kitchen to include stainless appliances, our white coffee maker just didn't look good, so we thought of good old Mr. Coffee first. As we felt our previous Mr. Coffee made a good cup of coffee, we thought we would try this one first. So far, we have really enjoyed the coffee maker and as such, I would give it 5 stars. We have had it about 2 months so far and would recommend it highly. For more details, here are some of the pros and cons and overall impression: PROS: Very affordable, great looking, easily programmed, makes "regular" and "strong" brews and has a nice little beep that happens when the pot is done brewing. Fairly easy to clean (but see below), fairly quiet and makes a great cup of coffee! CONS: We didn't care for the additional filter offered--it made the coffee a little weaker and didn't offer as much yummy morning smell, so we took it out--Just FYI in case you want to try. In addition, this coffee maker does seem to take awhile to brew. Also, there also seems to be quite a bit of condensation that builds up inside this maker where the grounds are held. We have to sop up this water with a paper towel and leave the "flap" open in order to dry the unit each day. By evening, if dried out and left open, the unit is finally dry, so we close and put away. OVERALL IMPRESSION: A great, sleek coffee maker at a bargain price! 09/30/2011

There are so many great features...the decanter doesn't spill the coffee when you pour like so many others...very easy to program and use...cleverly designed water and coffee fill area. Aside from the easy-view water level; option of using either provided filter or paper filters;quick and easy programmable features;the smart looking combination of black/brushed stainless steel and last, but certainly not least, the great. affordable price factor; what more can I say except: this coffeemaker won't disappoint you! Rated 5 out of 5 by Coffee Maker I would recommend this Mr. Coffee product. Be careful how you pour a full pot. The lid must be up a little bit or you have dribbles. Other than that it makes great coffee. I use Folgers dark roast and it is wonderful to wake up to in the morning. 01/05/2011

It brews good hot coffee,ready when I get up.It has a very attractive desiegn,and nice programmable features. The caraffe is good quality glass. I have had no issues w/ spilling when pouring. No leaking issues. A pot brews in about 8 to 10 min.s I have been using it for about 3 weeks. So far, so good! I have no complaints.A good value. 12/06/2010

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hot Coffee! Brews great, hot coffee and keeps it hot. Like the alert features. Easy to fill water, though it would be helpful to have water lines on both sides. Wish the turn off feature can be overriden if needed. The pot is easier to handle than the less expensive Mr. Coffee, however, it already has a small chip at the top after 3 weeks of use, even after treating it with care. Haven't tried the programmable setting or strong brew cycle yet. This coffee maker is worth the extra few dollars; it makes much better coffee and looks better than the less expensive Mr. Coffee. 09/02/2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker Arrived in good condition. Set it up. Cleaned Pot and got everything ready to make a pot. Directions were easy to follow. After making the first pot we set it up for making a stronger pot. Everything turned out well. Now we just set it and forget it. Great machine. 08/30/2010
