Rated 5 out of 5 by Hopey42107 My husband wears these and, he says they are better than some of the more expensive boots he has owned. I have noticed that, they have lasted a little longer also.

Chaz56 Terrible Boots
I work on gravel and after less than two months of walking over the stone I find the heel is hollow! And I now have stones lodged inside the heel. Not stuck in the grooves totally inside the heel. Checking out the stones I find both soles are split almost all the way across where the ball of you foot would be. So much for being waterproof. But now I can confirm the there is a steel shank in there cause I've touched it. I uploaded two photos. You can see the sole is barely worn but split and for the other I stuck a pencil about an inch into a hole in the hallow heel. Stay away from these boots if you are going to use them for real work. And I really liked to look and fit. Unfortunately the lowest rating is one star. They really deserve a zero.

He has MD so he had lace braces. He goes through boots every 3 months. But these last about 6 months.
It is a shame they stopped carrying 14's though. Now I have to go to a miltary supply store to buy him boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lauren5 Great Shoes but Smelly
These are working our great for my husband but when he first started wearing them they had a very strong chemical smell on them. Maybe something they wear treated with or sprayed with to make them black we do not know. The smell does fade as the days go by and otherwise they are working out great. We ordered them on online so we had no idea they would smell.

Rated 1 out of 5 by wallyboots34 I bought these boots because i liked the style, and look.at 29.00 i felt if they lasted 6 months itd be worth it.I w ore them the first day ,and they felt huge(im a 12 these felt like a 13)also the leather(if leather at all)didnt hold any kind of shape of the foot.i tried adding an extra insole, and tightening but my foot kept moving around. My feet were sore after day 1,and the right toe of the boot had a curve inward that kept rubbing on my toe.Day 2 on dirt tat curve inward on the right toe kept rubbing even worse on uneven ground.Day 3 returned for a 11 ,and still my foot moved around. The leather was rinkling not holding any shape. My right toe developed a blister from that rubbing on the curve(very unnoticeable odd curve inward that made no sense...i noticed it because i was looking for the rubbing)had to wrap my toe in duck tape to finish working. Not to mention my ankles killed me.horrible affordable lack of quality boots.

Rated 2 out of 5 by jeepdoctor Get what you pay for
Bought these boots for work. Nice considering the price. Steel toe is effective, and they really are water proof. However about two months into them, holes developed in the soles. Rubber on the soles are about an eighth of an inch thick and are hollow. Durability and comfort leaves a lot to be desired. Get what you pay for. Spend a little more and buy some Wolverine work boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LightingGuy37212 Great Shoes for the price!
These shoes are great for my work in the entertainment industry. I was looking for a durable shoe with a great steel toe. The leather is of a great quality especially considering the price of the shoes. It is of the same quality as some of the redwing shoes I have purchased in the past.
There are a few things you need to know when you buy these shoes.
1. The soles of the shoe are not made from non-marking rubber.
2. The shoe is designed as a wide shoe. If your foot is not a wide foot, I would recommend getting an insole to make it fit.
I am very satisfied with these shoes. I definitely would recommend them. They are not expensive, but are definitely of similar quality to more expensive work boot brands.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PubliusSeneca Roughly Made with Awkward Shape
This product is cheap and the price is
reflected in the quality. It is roughly
shaped and does not hold a firm shape
for very long. Moreover, I find that not
having holes all the way up for lacing
is very inconvenient.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Angelsnake76 Awful Line Of Shoes
These shoes wear out way to quick. The soles wear down so thin within 2 months that I had holes in the bottom of my shoes. The sides split apart also and the laces broke way too easily

Rated 5 out of 5 by customer91 Not pretty but gets the job done
I have had these boots since I was working on a farm and they held up to years of ABUSE I have worn out 3 pairs of $200 dress boots in the time that I have owned these boots. The only major problem I have had from the start till the end is that the steel caps curve into your feet on the sides creating a pretty painful edge. 4 years of everything from farm work to construction and the leather and rubber still hold ... the stitching however has recently torn all the way around the front half of my right boot, and the padding has been gone for about 2 years now

Rated 5 out of 5 by ENERGYSTARRATER BIG SIZES ARE AVAILABLE
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO REQUIRE A SIZE BIGGER THAN A 12, YOU CAN(WITH SOME LUCK) FIND THEM IN THE RETAIL STORES. I FOUND A SIZE 13 AND 14 TODAY AT OUR STORE BUT CANNOT SAY WHAT'S AVAILABLE ELSEWHERE. TAKE THE TIME TO LOOK AND SHOP ONLINE TO SEE IF THEY ARE AVAILABLE AND USE A RETAIL STORE IF NOT FOUND THERE. IT CAN BE DONE!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by HamRadioCQDx Nice Boot
They are nice boots for the money. Only complaint would be the Leather could be a little thicker. Also wish the came in D width and not just the wide. But the fit is still fine just more room for your toes.
Would buy another pair if needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by zombiewalker93 Great but needs improvement
these boots are great, I've had them for well over 6 months, and the type of work I do I'm used to buying steel toe boots like crazy, these boots are very durable and excellent which I'm surpised because I usually spend over 100 dollars each time on a pair of steel toe boots, these have lasted longer than any of my other boots.
but
the only thing that I did not like about these boots was that you have to wear very durable socks because these boots will make holes in cheap socks and these are not the most comfortable boots out there, but hey I got way more than I paid for with these boots, so yeah, pretty good work boots.

My son usually wears a 13 but I ordered a 12 and they fit him great. They look great also, I like the short round toe. They had a moth ball smell but went away after they were worn for a few days.

Bought these boots to replace a pair bought at payless that lasted 6 months. They fell apart on Friday, purchaced these on Saturday. Will try them out on Monday. Drive a cement truck. Wet and dirty job. For the price of a new pair at payless I got the boots and a can of camp dry. I wear a size 14W. Web site said they only went up to 13W. Went to the store and to my surprise there the were. Do Not Believe the web site go to the store and look. There were several styles in a 14W even though the site only went to 13W. For us BIG FOOTED guys go to the store and check for our sizes!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by buttonup Good Enough
I bought these in the wrong size and had to take them back, but I observed that overall they are very lightweight for steel toed boots. The soles are more like rubber foam, which won't last long, but are good enough for the price. Overall if you need a boot and can't afford better, they are adequate but they won't last very long.

We have bought these boots at the store before and been very satisfied. When they were delivered after buying them online, they all had a horrible stench - smelled like oil. Even after wear and sitting outside for a week - they still smelled.
That is the only drawback, and a stinky one at that.

My first time to order online from Wal-mart for my hubby. His so picky so I am afraid that I will end up returning this again. But he like it, the only complained that I heard from him was his feet aches because it's too wide for him and it's kinda heavy :D But it's worth for the amount you pay.
