Rated 3 out of 5 by Lack of coatings is wroooong. A graduated neutral density filter is a nice thing to have in store. Particularly used in landscape photography, the Graduated ND filter allows you to balance the bright horizon with the darker land. However. A good filter needs an antireflective coating. All your lenses on your camera are carefully aligned and calulated and then covered in a no-glare coating so as to remove light bouncing around the inside odf the lens. Then we come along and throw this over the top and destroy what the R&D department spent their budget doing. Given that you are most likely going to be pointing this towards the sun, you will want a filter that has a multicoating to stop kill the bouncing light 01/07/2010
