Rated 4 out of 5 Worth watching, but not what you expect
I watched X-Files years ago when it was on and enjoyed it for the most part. I really enjoyed the last movie, as it shed a little light on the alien situation. Unfortunately they have changed direction here.
The movie itself is a fine movie, and I thought it was worth watching. There are some definite holes in the story though, specifically involving Scully and Mulder's personal relationship.
The only other thing (or warning, if you prefer) is that this movie has nothing to do with aliens at all. It has a few supernatural twists, but they seem minimal overall. It's a basic "Cop and Bad guy" movie with a few small exceptions.

I was at first, kind of disappointed, with this movie and how it doesn't involve aliens.
Though it does have some supernatural theme to it. It's still a good movie! Not all their episodes included UFOs and aliens, so you have to expect the second movie to fall away from it too.
I love the relationship of Mulder and Scully. :) It will make all the X-File fans happy to see what happens.
I still enjoy this movie. I'll always be a die-hard X-Files fan.

I used to be a huge X Files follower and couldn't wait to see the movie. I was very disappointed. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Perhaps, if you hadn't watched the series, it would be more enjoyable.
