Rated 5 out of 5 by The Yummiest Pellets for a Rabbit I have a mini Rex. I've had her about four months now. I tried several different kinds of pellets/pellet mixes for her, but this one is her favorite for a basic daily food. Originally, I'd give her some of the pellets (from other brands, even brands I knew better originally) with seeds or corn or other items mixed in, and all she would do was pick out the yummy bits and leave the pellets alone. In fact, she made a mess strewing the pellets about trying to dig out the yummier bits. However, she will eat these pellets - always. So, now I give her these pellets as her daily meals and give her the Mixed Berry & Nut Treat as a treat, so she can still have some of both, but her main diet now is the pellets, as it should be. I've shopped at all sorts of pets stores, but Walmart carries her two favorite treats (yogurt chips and above) and this as her favorite food! Result: a happy bunny and happy mom! 01/25/2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Would be 5 stars This is the best product I bought so far. I have bought two bags of 5 pound Wild Harvest rabbit food ($5) that goes empty by the end of the month. Mainly because my rabbit is a picky eater. He first avoided the corn, then he avoided the pellets, then the sunflower seeds and there was no end to what he would eat and wouldn't eat from the Wild Harvest. I got fed up with that so when I went to the store and saw Small World, 25 pounds for $7, I bought it immediately. I give him 1/4 of a cup of food every day and he eats most of it without picking at it because it's the same thing throughout. ^_^ In fact, whenever I clean his home and puts in a dish of this food and a dish of fresh food, he heads straight for this food when I put him back in his hutch. He jumps on the edge of the bowl in the morning though, and send whatever is leftover from last night all over his hutch. But he does that with the other brand too but this one is much easier to clean up. The reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 is because it's not that nutritious as Wild Harvest but it's good enough to keep his fur shiny and him healthy. If you feed your rabbits this, make sure to give them fresh veggies as well as timothy hay. 05/26/2012
