Rated 3 out of 5 by It didn't work for my son. I recieved this at my baby shower as a gift. I had heard great thing about it. My son had got a diaper rash once when he was sick and it didn't help him at all. The only thing that cleared it up was the A&D Diaper rash ointment, but the Butt Paste was easy to clean off rather than Desitan. And for the most part the smell wasn't too bad. I would recommend to anyone to try it. It just didn't work that well on my son. 12/23/2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best treatment for diaper rash I first used Boudreaux's after a long (10-hour) car trip in which my, then, 4-month-old got a case of diaper rash that Desitin couldn't do a thing for. My friend let me use her Boudreaux's, which she used for her kids, and it was like a miracle cure! I've been using it for over 4 years now on my kids, and it never disappoints me. My 19-month-old daughter has a very sensitive bottom and gets chronic yeast infections. During a particularly bad outbreak, for diaper changes that I wasn't applying anti-fungal cream, the pharmacist recommended using Aquaphor (based on personal experience, not drug interaction concerns), but her diaper area started looking like mini-volcanoes erupting, it was so angry! Once again, I went back to Boudreaux's, and within two days, the redness was clearing up (it won't cure a yeast infection, she still had that and I still needed the anti-fungal cream, but it looked better, with the broken skin healing). It is a little on the pricey side, and like with all diaper creams, you should apply it pretty liberally, but I feel like the rash clears up much faster than with other creams. Regardless, I'm a user for life! 09/19/2012
