Works for me,
08/10/2009
I purchased this mp3 player so I could listen to music during workouts. I've never had an IPod, but my kids do. I don't need an expensive brand name, it does almost as much as one anyway.
There's plenty of room for lots of music. You can download ebooks (I have not yet tried), videos, and listen to local radio stations. My teens' IPods don't play radio or download ebooks, and theirs cost close to $150! It also has a microphone so you can record notes. I haven't tried it to check quality yet, but music sounds just like you're listening to your cd.
It does not let you look at a play list and select what to listen to, you can either listen in order that you downloaded to the player, or you can select random playing, with or without repeat. I just skip a song if I don't feel like listening to it.
I don't like having to plug into computer to charge, it has the same connector as Blackberry Curve, but will not charge on the wall charger, only computer.
I'm not much of a techy person, but I still figured out how to get music onto it.
Hope this helps you decide if it will work for you.
